2) Air exerts pressure. Wind blowing at high speed may break or


displace many things. If holes are made in hanging banners and
hoardings, then air can pass through these holes, which reduces the
air pressure extended onto the banners and hoardings.

3) i) The maximum amount of rainfall in Chennai is from


October-December whereas the other cities receive the most rainfall
from June to September. Chennai experiences its maximum rainfall
from October to December due to the Northeast monsoon, which is
distinct from the Southwest monsoon that affects most other Indian
cities from June to September.

ii) The temperature curves of Delhi and Kolkata have a similar


pattern. The summer months(May to June) have high
temperatures and the winter months(December to January) have
cooler temperatures.

winters.

vi) Mumbai has a moderate climate. The highest amount of rainfall


occurs from June to September which indicates a tropical monsoon
climate.

vii) India experiences the highest rainfall in July and August.

food, flashlights, medications, first aid kit etc.
● Stay indoors during the storm. If you’re not near your house, seek
shelter in a nearby sturdy building.
● Have a backup power source in case of a power outage.

6) Moral Value: It’s important to conserve water.


Through this experiment, we observe how water continuously cycles
through the earth in different stages. It is a resource that is essential for life.
By understanding the water cycle, I realized that our actions can impact this
natural process. Hence, it’s important to conserve water.
