Dear experts.

I am having a trouble in displaying read data and converted data in LSMW. The
following error keeps popping up "No physical path is configured for logical name
/SAPDMC/LSMW_FILE".

I have tried to create a logical path through FILE by referring to other Q&A answers,
manuals, but the same error keeps coming out. What could be doing wrong? Here is
what it looks like.

See SAP note 2488351

You have now 2 options:

1. Switch off the validation enforcement switch - open transaction SM30 for
Table/View FILECMCUST and click Maintain. Here change the configuration for
parameter 'REJECT_EMPTY_PATH' from 'ON' to 'OFF'.

or

2. Define a Physical path for the Logical path '/SAPDMC/LSMW_FILE_LP' - open

transaction FILE and in Logical File Path Definition find Logical Path
'/SAPDMC/LSMW_FILE_LP'. Select it and double click 'Assignment of Physical Paths
to Logical Path' and define the Physical path.

Yes, you are right, there are two methods, and I chose the second option. But I
still keep getting the same error. Do you think it is because I am entering it
incorrectly?

Instead of just <filename> can you try with some directory location like C:\LSMW\
<filename>
