ESD - Hearing in NCDRC on 08.02.

2022 regarding
refund of Security Deposit of Rs.50 lakh

As the above case has since been decided in our favour by NCDRC vide its order

dt. 3 ofjan., 2022(F/A), we had requested NCDRC vide our letter No.ES/O-4/22 dt. 19th
Jan-2022 (FIB) to refund our updated amount of Security deposit amounting to Rs.Fifty
Lakhs which we had deposited with them vide our letter No.674 dt. 24 th March,'2012
in compliance of their Order dt. 20 th March, 2012
It is evident that our above application dt 19th Jan., 2022 has been treated as MA
17/2022 by NCDRC and the above notice has been issued by them fixing a date of 8th
Feb., 2022 for hearing so as to pass orders on our above application dt. 19th of Jan., 2022
as it is learnt that without issue of such an order by the judicial authorities, the above
referred amount cannot be refunded by the administrative authorities of NCDRC. We have
since informed NCDRC of our e mail id already by e mail.

As the above hearing has been fixed on ath of Feb., 2022 at 10:30 hrs, it is for
advice as to who should attend the said hearing which is being held at Delhi only through
video conferencing mode by NCDRC. Our junior advocate Shri Gunjan Kumar & PB
Rajesh Punj both have already been sent copies of above notice from NCDRC. All
hearings in NCDRC at Delhi are at present being held thru video conferencing mode only
as confirmed by Shri Gunjan Kumar & PB Rajesh Pur!.i(as per orders of Delhi Govt. In
force today).
Earlier hearing on the CC 64/2012 case in Supreme Court held on 3rd Jan., 2022
was attended by Shri Gunjan Kumar & PB Rajesh Punj thru'video conferencing mode from
their offices at Delhi & Chandigarh. Myself and PB V.Ananda Rau had attended the s~me
by physically being present in office of Shri Gunjan Kumar at Delhi as Directed.
The last hearing held in Supreme Court (thru video conferencing} on 101h jan., 2022
