I‭ , Debjani Nandi, am honoured to stand before you and share this moment together of GD‬
‭Goenka’s Investiture Ceremony.‬

‭ oday, we have gathered for the Investiture Ceremony, a cherished tradition at G D Goenka,‬

‭eagerly anticipated by all our students. Year after year, this ceremony shows the trust and‬
‭confidence we place in our newly elected council. This vital quality has distinguished our young‬
‭Goenkans, earning them the honor and responsibility of becoming our school's office bearers and‬
‭prefects.‬

‭ efore we begin I would like to welcome our‬

‭Respected‬‭Chairman of the school, Mr Devraj Singh Badgara, Director Maam Ms Sulakshana‬
‭Badgara and Principal Ma’am Ms Nalini Pathak‬‭,‬ ‭members of teaching staff and my dear‬
‭students, on behalf of G D GOENKA, Indore, it is our proud privilege to extend a hearty‬
‭welcome to you all, on this very momentous occasion of investiture ceremony.‬
‭It is with immense pride and privilege that I welcome you to our school's esteemed Prefect‬
‭Investiture Ceremony. Today, we celebrate the remarkable achievements and exemplary‬
‭character of our students. Our Goenkans excel academically, exhibit exceptional athletic and‬
‭sporting prowess, demonstrate formidable debating skills, showcase outstanding musical talents,‬
‭and shine as compelling actors. However, it is their strength of character that we hold in the‬
‭highest regard.‬

‭ et us now commence this significant ceremony, where we recognize and invest our future‬

‭leaders with their well-deserved role by‬‭the traditional‬‭and authentic lamp lighting ceremony, a‬
‭tribute to the divine for bestowing us with wisdom and knowledge.‬

I‭ now request our esteemed‬‭Chairman Sir, Director Madam, and Principal Ma'am, Rashida‬
‭Ma’am, Meena ma’am, Priyanka ma’am and Deepak Gurjar sir‬‭to kindly come forward and light‬
‭the lamp.‬

‭positions. Today's students are the visionaries and torchbearers of tomorrow. By nurturing their‬
‭personalities, skills, and minds, we cultivate responsible human beings with exemplary‬
‭leadership qualities.‬
‭As the saying goes, "A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way."‬

‭ he bugle call has announced the beginning of the Investiture Ceremony, marking the dawn of a‬

‭brighter future as our new office bearers prepare to be invested. The most anxiously awaited‬
‭moment has finally arrived: the Oath Taking Ceremony, the cornerstone of today's program.‬
