MEETING 1

CONTENT :

Vocabulary about public places and stores

Learning Goal : students be able to determine and mention the precise direction of public
places and stores

Learning activity :

Pre-activity : warming up (15 minutes)

1. Sing a song
2. Read the bible
3. Yell-yel

Main activity

1. Tutor will ask about public places/religion places and stores that students have
recognized and she will explain the learning goal at that time and what they have to do,
in what ways they will achieve the goal.
2. Tutor will ask students to repeat the vocabularies about public places/religion places
and stores after her
3. Students will repeat the words and tutor will improve their pronunciation by give
correction one by one
4. Tutor will give the pictures and say the words
5. Students will repeat after the tutor
6. After check their memorization of the vocabulary, tutor will continue to the next step in
which tutor will add the verb phrase : I wanna go to… into the list of public/religion
places and stores
7. Tutor will improve students’ pronunciation one by one
8. Tutor and students will read the dialogue about public places/religion place and stores
9. Tutor will practice first and students will follow what tutor have said.
10. Tutor will check students’ understanding by saying the phrase if you sick you could go
to… (students will answer the hospital)

Closure :

1. Tutor will summarize the lesson at that time by asking one by one
2. Tutor will end the lesson by leading students in pray
Meeting 2
Content : direction and traffic sign

Pre-activity :

1. Sing a song
2. Read the bible
3. Yell-yel

Main activity :

1. Tutor will check students memorization about public places/religion places and stores
by showing the flashcards and ask the name
2. Tutor will ask about direction and traffic sign that students have recognized and she will
explain the learning goal at that time and what they have to do, in what ways they will
achieve the goal.
3. Tutor will ask students to repeat the vocabularies about direction and traffic sign after
her
4. Students will repeat the words and tutor will improve their pronunciation by give
correction one by one
5. Tutor will give the pictures and say the words
6. Students will repeat after the tutor
7. After check their memorization of the vocabulary, tutor will continue to the next step in
which tutor will add the verb phrase : go straight and turn left to…/ go straight and turn
right to…
8. Tutor will improve students’ pronunciation one by one
9. Tutor and students will read the dialogue about asking direction of public places/religion
place and stores
10. Tutor will practice first and students will follow what tutor have said.
11. Tutor will check students’ understanding by asking the direction and students will show
the direction on whiteboard
12. Tutor will challenge students by showing the map for 5 seconds and tutor will close the
map and ask them for example : where is the school?
13. Students will answer by giving the exact direction, if students mispronounce the tutor
will give correction

Closure :

1. Tutor will ask a random student to show the direction of places on whiteboard and
other students will repeat after him.
2. Tutor will close the lesson by asking question like what we have learnt today? What are
the types of direction you have known?
3. Tutor will ask random student to lead in pray
Meeting 3

Pre-activity :

1. Sing a song
2. Read the bible and pray
3. Tutor will check students memorization by showing and asking the name of the
direction on flashcards
4. Tutor will explain the learning goal and technique

Main activity :

1. Tutor and students will practice the dialogue about asking and giving direction
2. Tutor will read the dialogue first and it will follow by students
3. Tutor will check one by one students’ pronunciation
4. Tutor will show the map of public places and stores.
5. Tutor will start the dialogue while look at the map then tutor will guide students to give
the direction
6. Tutor will give the 2 worksheet of direction and students will work in pair
7. Tutor will check and give feedback

Closure :

1. Tutor will ask again about the name of direction to students


2. Tutor will give the star sticker for best student of the day as reward and give advice to
other students to learn more
3. Tutor and students will sing together
4. Tutor will ask a random student to lead in pray
Meeting 4

Pre-activity :

1. Tutor will explain about how to play “one marshmallow…check it out…woo…two


marshmallow… two marshmallow…so on”
2. Read the bible and pray

Main activity :

1. Tutor and students will practice the dialogue about asking and giving direction
2. Tutor will read the dialogue first and it will follow by students
3. Tutor will check one by one students’ pronunciation
4. Tutor will show the map of public places and stores.
5. Tutor will start the dialogue while look at the map then tutor will guide students to give
the direction
6. Tutor will give the worksheet that use “info gap” syle. In this section, students only has
part of the information and they must find out the rest of information by talking to their
classmates.

Closure :

1. Tutor will ask again about the name of direction to students


2. Tutor will give the star sticker for best student of the day as reward and give advice to
other students to learn more
3. Tutor and students will sing together
4. Tutor will ask a random student to lead in pray
Meeting 5

Describing Object and People

Pre-activity :

1. Tutor will sing together with students


2. Tutor will ask random student to pray
3. Tutor will ask about the name of direction to check students’ memorization
4. Tutor will tell the topic of the day and the learning goals
