Prompt: Summer is always fun. However, summer is very hot these days because

Summer Heat
“Summer is here!” shouted Paolo. “Let’s make our kites and fly them
high. It is windy but the sun’s glare is too much to bear,” continued Paolo.

“This is the price we have to pay for destroying the ozone layer,” said
Cindy.

“What is the ozone layer?” asked Paolo.

“It is a layer of gas that protects us from ultra-violet radiation. It is far


above the atmosphere. We can’t feel or see it. Now, that it has big hole and
thinning, our lives are in danger,” answered Cindy.
