1. Downlod the software SmartClient
Download the SmartClient in the computer or laptop.

Go to H.VIEW Software (SmartClient) download center:

2. Access the camera in SmartClient

Open the SmartClient


Enter username (admin) password(12345)
Click “login”

01. Click Add device


02. Choose the camera which was searched out in the LAN
03. Click Add, then the camera will show in Device list
04. Double click the camera, then it will show the image on the left side windows
3. WIFI Setting (only for H.VIEW WiFi Camera) Select the WIFI network
Double click to select your WiFi network
01. Click the setting icon of camera
02. Choose WIFI Setting icon

Enter the WIFI password and click connect


01. Click Refresh and the status of WIFI setting will show connected. 01. Choose the WIFI IP address to connect and unplug the Ethernet cable.
02. Click Save, the WIFI setting will be finished. 02. Click Add, then the camera will work under WIFI network.

Back to the add device page, there are two IP address, one is WIFI network IP
another one is Ethernet cable network IP.
4. SMTP Email Setting Notice:Different mailbox need use different SMTP server, Authentication and Port.
E.g outlook SMTP server is smtp.live.com, Authentication is STARTTLS, Port is 25
Click the setting icon of camera and Gmail SMTP server is smtp.gmail.com, Authentication is SSL/TSL, Port is 465
Choose SMTP
User name: Please enter your mailbox address (Recommend to use Outlook or Gmail)
Password: Please enter the password of the above mailbox
Camera name: Set by yourself
Recipient email: Enter the email address what you want to receive the alarm mail
After finished the above step, please click “test” button
if it comes out test successfully, click “save” , then it was finished.
5. FTP Setting Server address: Please fill in the IP address of NAS in here.
Port: The default port is 21, but this decides to the FTP setting in NAS.
Click the setting icon of camera Username: Please fill in the login username of the NAS.
Choose FTP Password: Please fill in the login password of NAS.
Remote Path: Fill in the path of the shared folder in NAS.
Notice: Before the customer set up the FTP setting, please remember to enable the FTP 6. Motion Detection Alarm Setting
service in your NAS.
We show the Synology NAS as the example, customer need enable the FTP service like Click the setting icon of camera
the below picture shows Choose Motion detection
1. Enable motion detection
2. Adjust the Sensitivity and Threshold.
(The Sensitivity more higher, the motion detection trigger more easy. The Threshold
more higher, the motion detection trigger more difficult.)

4. Motion detection Action Setup


Here is 7 way of motion detection alarm.
If user want to receive the Email Alarm with picture, please click Send email and Snapshot.
If user want to receive the FTP snapshot ,please click FTP and Snapshot.
If user want to view the motion detection video,please click the Record.

3. Setup the motion detection schedule


Here is 2 option: 7*24 Hour(s) and Schedule.
(Schedule means that the motion detection time zone will be set up by user)

Choose the motion detection area by yourself or directly click Full screen,
then click Save, the motion detection alarm setting will be finished. 01. Human Detection
This function will detects the human form and triggers an alarm only when the person
enters the alert zone.
01. Click the setting icon of camera
02. Choose Human Detection
3. Setup the motion detection schedule and Detection Action
4. Draw the detection area by yourself or directly click Full screen
5. Then click Save, the human detection setting will be finished.

02. Line crossing


This function will alarm after detecting someone or something crossing the warning line.
01. Click the setting icon of camera
02. Choose Line crossing

1. Adjust the confidence


(The confidence values more lower, it maybe detects other object which is not human,
but if you set it more higher, it can detect more accurate human)
2. Select the scene mode
Here is 3 options of scene mode, it will be represent different shape of the detect aims.
4. Setup the motion detection schedule and Detection Action
5. Draw the line and click Save, the Line crossing setting will be finished.

03. Intrusion Detection


This function will alarm when an object or object enters or leaves the alert zone.
01. Click the setting icon of camera
02. Choose Intrusion Detection

1. Adjust the Sensitivity.


(The Sensitivity more higher, the Line crossing trigger more sensitive.)
2.Select the scene mode, according to the camera installation environment to select.

3. Choose the direction


This setting allows the camera to detect humans or objects entering it's line of sight
according to the direction of entry on both sides of the line (A and B).

This setting allows the camera to detect an object or objects movement according to
the move direction of entry or leave in the detection zone.

4.Setup the motion detection schedule and Detection Action


5.Draw the detection zone and click Save, the Intrusion detection setting will be finished.

2. Select the scene mode, according to the camera installation environment to select.
8. Record Video and Snapshot Setting 1. Record setting
Enable: Choose Yes
Click the setting icon of camera Pre-record: Choose by yourself
Choose Motion detection Stream: Choose by yourself
(Main Stream means high resolution video ,Sub stream means lower resolution)
Destination: Choose SD card means the video will save in SD card. Choose NFS means
the video will save to NAS.
Schedule: Choose by yourself
2. Snapshot setting 9. Play Back the Record Video in SD card
Enable: Choose Yes
Quality: Choose by yourself
01. Tap the Play back video icon
Stream: Choose by yourself
02. Choose Remote playback
(Main Stream means high resolution video ,Sub stream means lower resolution)
Destination: Choose SD card means the video will save in SD card. Choose NFS means
the video will save to NAS.
Schedule: Choose by yourself

After the above setting ,notice to click”Save the setting.


01. Move the camera to the play back channel 01. Drag the time line to find the video
02. Choose the date time which already had recorded video 02. Double click to play the video
10. Back up the record video in SD card The path to save the video, you can according to the below picture to set up.

01. Click the clip icon (When tap the video icon, the video status needs stay unplay)
02. Then according to the video time to select the start time and end time.
03. After finish the above step , tap the start to back up the video.
