CET Admissions Procedure:

- Registrations process (upload documents on the online portal that will open up
on 16th probably)
- Physical Scrutiny or E-Scrutiny (to verify the documents you uploaded)
[Advice: Physical Scrutiny]
-> Take whatever relevant documents you have with you to the FC
-> Take 2 xerox copies of each document (One for the FC and one for you)
-> The xerox copies you'll have will be stamped by the FC and that will be
necessary for Admission after college is allotted in Cap rounds
-> E-Scrutiny may screw you over but the choice is yours
- After Document Verification, provisional merit list will be released
-> if there's something wrong with your name or percentage on the list you
can change it in this stage
- Final Merit List will be released
- Option form will be available to fill
-> 1st block in the option form should be filled with a college that has a
very high cutoff
-> Minimum option is 1 and maximum is 300
-> It's best to have atleast 40-50 options
-> Same colleges with different branches can be selected as an option
- CAP Round I allotments will be made available
[Advice]
-> if the first preference is allotted to you, the decision will be final and
cannot be changed
-> if the college allotted to you is not in the first block, then you can
either ditch that college or select it and then opt for betterment
-> if the college allotted to you is a fairly good one then opting for
betterment is an ideal choice
-> You can reselect the option form and if you're going for betterment then
it is advised to put only the colleges you really want in
- CAP Rounds II & III
-> Same process as CAP Round I
- After the college is allotted to you in any of the three rounds then go to the
respective institute to finalize your seat
