Curriculum and syllabus

With the approval of Cambridge International Examinations Cambridge International Schools offers the Cambridge International Primary
Programme and the Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme to its learners. The Cambridge International Primary Program assists
learners to develop strong and well-rooted skills in Languages, Sciences and Mathematics which are the founding pillars for children to
perform extremely well in their secondary and advanced years of education. The CIE qualifications, taken in over 150 countries worldwide are
recognized and respected by Universities, educational institutions and employers.

The Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP)

The Cambridge International Primary Programme provides a curriculum framework to develop Mathematics, English and Science skills and
knowledge in young children. The Cambridge Primary curriculum framework identifies a comprehensive set of learning objectives for English,
Mathematics and Science for each year of primary education, which:

provide a natural progression through the years of primary education

provide a valuable structure that focuses on what children should be able to do at each of the primary stages.

Cambridge Primary provides guidance for curriculum development and classroom teaching and learning. It enables teachers to assess
children's learning as they progress with two optional assessments: Cambridge Primary progression tests and Cambridge Primary
Achievement Tests.

Primary Programme Progression Tests are used that can assess students at the end of each year. These tests provide information to analyse
student's achievements, strengths and weaknesses, and give teachers invaluable information to help guide your child in the following year. In
the final year of primary education, students can take the Cambridge International Primary Achievement Test. All students completing the tests
will be issued with a Primary Certificate of Achievement by Cambridge International Examinations .

Appropriate and relevant internationally, Cambridge Primary has been designed to be culturally sensitive. It includes top-quality teaching and
assessment resources appropriate for teaching and learning in every country. The Primary Programme is an excellent framework for learning
in the primary years and provides a solid foundation for your child's future. Its step-by-step programme of learning takes children from the start
of primary education to completion, before they move on to secondary education.

The Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme

The Cambridge Lower Secondary curriculum framework identifies a set of learning objectives for English, Mathematics and Science for each
year of lower secondary education. It forms the core of the Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme and:

provides natural progression from primary education through the three years of lower secondary education.
provides a structure that focuses on what learners should be able to do at the end of each stage.
covers all learning objectives assessed in Cambridge Checkpoint tests for the final year of lower secondary which are externally
moderated by CIE.
provides excellent preparation for candidates progressing to the Cambridge IGCSE courses. 8.Computer Science
