SUBJECT:
Hydraulic Power --- Addition of Teflon Retainer to Pilot Valve Bushing of Hy-
draulic Pump.

EFFECTIVITY:
DHC---8 Aircraft with hydraulic pump Part No. 570347.

REASON:
Refer to Vickers Service bulletin No. 570347---29---02R1.

DESCRIPTION:
This Service Bulletin transmits Vickers Service Bulletin No. 570347---29---02R1,
a reproduction of which is issued as pages 2 thru 6 of this Service Bulletin.

COMPLIANCE:
Incorporation of this Service Bulletin may be accomplished at the operator’s dis-
cretion and convenience on an attrition basis.

ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Remove hydraulic pump 570347 from aircraft (refer to Maintenance Manual PSM
1---8---2, Chapter 29---10---11.
2. Refer to Vickers Service Bulletin No. 570347---29---02R1 ACCOMPLISHMENT IN-
STRUCTIONS paragraph 2.
3. Install hydraulic pump 570347 to aircraft (refer to Maintenance Manual PSM 1---8---2,
Chapter 29---10---11.
4. On incorporation of this Service Bulletin make the following entry in the “Record of
Airframe Modifications” or equivalent document: “Service Bulletin No. 8---29---7 --- Hy-
draulic Power --- Addition of Teflon Retainer to Pilot Valve Bushing of Hydraulic Pump ---
Vickers Service Bulletin No. 570347---29---02R1, incorporated”.
