GOOD MORNING TRAINEES, BEFORE WE START LET US PRAY.

IRTRODUCE
Good morning everybody! My name is RYAN DAVE PECOLADOS, I am an accredited
assessor for (Organic Agriculture Production NCII).
ACKNOWLEDGE
I would like to acknowledge the presence of Mr. PARNADA our representative from TESDA
Provincial Office. Mr. PARNADA is here to oversee the conduct of competency assessment and
to check if the conduct is in accordance with the prescribed competency assessment
methodology and procedures. She will not assess you.
Before I start the orientation, let me first check the attendance. As I call your name, please affix
your signature then present to me your respective admission slip.
CHECKING OF ATTENDANCE

I have here with me your accomplished self-assessment guide and application form. This is an
indication that you knew and can perform all the units of competency enumerated in this
qualification.
PORPUSE OF ASSESSMENT
The purpose of our assessment for (OAP-NCII)is to determine the level of your competency, this
can also be used for local or overseas employment and promotion.
UNIT OF COMPETENCY TO BE ASSESSED
Today,I am going to administer competency assessment in (OAP NCII) with the core unit of competency
namely:
1.RAISE ORGANIC CHICKEN-UC 1
2.PRODUCE ORGANIC VEGETABLES -UC 2
3.PRODUCE ORGANIC FERTILIZERS-UC 3
4.PRODUCECONCOCTIONS AND EXTRACTS-UC 4

So your task to be performed is to perform (OAP NCII). We will collect evidences through the demonstration
and oral questioning.

ASSESSMENT PROCEDURE

To determine your knowledge and skills IN ORGANIC AGRICULTURE PRODUCTION, the


assessment method that we will use will the demonstration and oral questioning. This method
can help measure the underpinning knowledge and skills.
For your personal needs, our restrooms are located downstairs beside the conference room. And you can take
your meal at the canteen located at the lobby.
If you have difficulty in understanding the given instruction, please do not hesitate to inform me because I am
willing to translate it for you. But once the assessment has started, please refrain from asking questions, it will
no longer be entertained.
During the actual assessment, please observe safety precautions as you perform the different tasks. In case of
accident, please call my attention immediately.

With regard on the assessment result, we observe strict confidentiality.


In case you have any question regarding the assessment result, you have the right to appeal. You can submit
your appeal to the TESDA provincial Office were the Assessment Center and the Assessor were accredited. Do
you have any question?

PROVIDE SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS

If you have no questions and clarifications, I am going to distribute to you this Specific Instruction, please
read them carefully.

Prepare the necessary ingredients, materials, tools and equipment in accordance with the following tasks to be
performed within 4hours.
1.RAISE ORGANIC CHICKEN -UC 1
2.PRODUCE ORGANIC VEGETABLES -UC 2
3.PRODUCE ORGANIC FERTILIZERS -UC 3
4.PRODUCE CONCOCTIONS AND EXTRACTS -UC 4

This time, I am going to administer the Competency Assessment Agreement Sheet. This CAAS
serves as a contract between the candidate and the assessor. That the assessor explained and the
candidate understands the process and requirements of the assessment. Please affix your
signature and answer all the questioned outline in the sheet. Get one and pass.

How do you feel about the Assessment?
My observation coincides with your opinion. You are competent in performing the different skills in
(QUALIFICATION). However, you didn’t observe safety precautions while conducting the demo.
In oral questioning, you are not confident in answering but you answers are correct. And the result of the
written test show that you are knowledgeable enough about (OAP NC2).

For that, I would like to congratulate you for a job well done and for having a competent rating on this
assessment. Once again, congratulations.

Will you please affix your signature in your rating sheet as well as in your Competency Assessment Result
Summary (CARS). The assessment center manager will sign your CARS and I will give it to you in the holding
area.
Before you go back to the holding area, I would like to inform you on how to request or claim your National
Certificate. In requesting your NC, that would be from Monday-Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM at TESDA
Provincial Office located at E-PARK, APOKON, TAGUM CITY.

Fill up the request form and attach the following: original copy of you CARS, 1 passport size picture with
white background wearing collared garment and 2 documentary stamp. Then fill up the request for payment
and prepare Php 100.00, Php 50.00 for the National Certificate then Php 50.00 for the Certification,
Authentication and Verification (CAV).

Okey, once again congratulations. Now you may proceed to the holding area.

based on the result of my observation during the demonstration, the outcome of the assessment is that you are
not yet competent. However, you can be re-assessed anytime at your convenience or when you are confident to
perform the given task. Do you have question?

Will you affix your signature in your rating sheet as well as in your Competency Assessment Result Summary
(CARS).

The assessment center manager will sign you CARS and I will give it to you in the holding area. Thank you
very much. You may now go back to the holding area.
