Hurray!!!!!! Vacations have started and the fun is about to begin.

We
understand that holidays are also meant for learning new activities.
So the holidays homework has been especially designed to ensure
that you enjoy and learn at the same time. Happy Vacations!!!!!!
Roll No. 1 to 3 (Read Chapter We Need Food) - On an A3 sheet, paste the pictures of energy – giving foods,
muscle- building and raw/cooked foods along with their names.

Roll No. 4 to 7 (Read chapter We Wear Clothes) - Collect pictures of dresses worn by people in different
parts of India and people doing different types of works in their dresses. Stick them on an A3 sized paper to
make a poster and write their names along with them

Roll No. 8 to 10 (Read Chapter Water) - On an A3 sheet, make a poster that shows ways of saving water.

Roll No. 11 to 14(Reads Chapter Festivals) - Select any four festivals and collect pictures and bits of
information about it. Paste the pictures on an A3 sized sheet and write a few sentences about the festival.
Decorate the paper to make it look attractive.

Roll. No 15 to 19(Read Chapter Seasons) - Make a poster on an A3 paper about your favourite season. Draw
or paste pictures of the clothes worn, food and drinks taken, flowers that bloom and festivals celebrated
during that season.

1. Write a recipe of two health drinks on A-4 size sheet.
2. Make a poster depicting importance of healthy eating habits along with a
suitable slogan on A-4 size sheet.
3. Draw a fruit basket on A- 4 sheet. Draw, color and label the fruits of the
season in the basket.

4. Paste the pictures of healthy and unhealthy food on paper plate and then fix
the plate on a chart.

5. Do activity 1.3 – “Making plants go blue” (refer to page 11 of Learner’s Book)
