1.1:
Ethical principles are beliefs that define a profession's behavioral
standards, which aim to expand choices, equality, and
opportunities. Adhering to work ethics is as important as
mastering the work and possessing the necessary
skills. Professional values are the beliefs and guidelines that
influence an individual's behavior at work. These values are
usually an extension of an individual's values, such as honesty,
responsibility, and integrity. They are unique to each person
based on their family, culture, environment, religion, and
ethnicity (Poorchangizi et al., 2017). Work ethics plays a vital
role in the relationships between co-workers, creating a positive
and healthy work environment and system. It is also not limited
only to the requirements of responsibility in performing job work,
that is the aspect of knowledge of the work and experience in it,
but instead includes various aspects of work such as human
behavior, the spirit of responsibility, and the ethical foundations
on which it is based. Work values and ethics include several
concepts, such as integrity, which refers to honesty and honesty
in dealing. Integrity is considered a necessary quality in all
professional and personal life aspects. To achieve these values,
one must first adhere to moral values, and the individual must
adhere to strict ethical standards in dealing with others and not
give up on them. Secondly, learning and development: The
individual must continuously develop his professional skills and
knowledge and learn from mistakes and experiences to improve
work performance and achieve the organization's goals. Third,
work honestly. You must work seriously, be patient, and pay
attention to your duties. This helps to achieve success at work.
Fourth and finally, honesty: It is also necessary for the individual
to be honest in dealing with others and not to hide or falsify
information, which helps build trust and respect in the workplace.
For example, when we want to search for a candidate for the
position of recruitment specialist, it is assumed that the selected
candidate needs to gain more experience, relevance to the
company's activity, and academic qualifications. We must be
honest in choosing and looking for someone who can cover the
job, so an assessment must be conducted, and based on
performance, we choose the candidate.
1.2:
Commitment to ethics is a fundamental matter that everyone
who works in organizations is keen on. For example, the Equal
Pay Act (EPA) requires that men and women in the same
workplace receive equal pay for the same work. All forms of
wages are covered under this law, including salaries, overtime
pay, bonuses, stock options, profit-sharing plans and bonuses,
life insurance, and payment for holidays and vacations.
Specifically, the Equal Pay Act (EPA) states that employers may
not pay unequal wages to men and women who perform jobs
requiring substantially equal skills, effort, and responsibility and
performing under similar working conditions within the same
establishment. As recruitment specialists, we do not differentiate
between men and women. Jobs must not be identical, but they
must be highly equal. Job content (not job title) determines
whether jobs are highly equal. Another example to follow (EPA)
is that our recruitment team is working on a new project for male
and female employees from diverse backgrounds. Tasks are
distributed to team members based on their experience and
skills, regardless of gender. Individual performance and
contribution to the project are evaluated. Our company also
provides equal training and professional development
opportunities for everyone. Thus, as HR administrators in our
company, we must regularly audit salaries and conduct training
and awareness sessions on equal pay and gender bias
legislation. As a human resources officer, I should regularly
review salaries and suggest training and awareness sessions on
equal pay and gender bias legislation. Also, make sure that
hiring decisions are based on merit and qualifications,
regardless of factors such as race, gender, religion, or age. I
ensure learning and development opportunities are provided to
all people regardless of their position. Another example of a
commitment to business ethics is the GDPR, which defines the
rights of individuals whose personal data is being processed. It
concerns personal data such as name, address, date of birth,
and IP address, as well as sensitive personal data such as
religion, trade union membership, ethnic origin, etc. Also, under
the (GDPR), sensitive data has stricter protection. The law also
concerns data protection regarding the privacy of the data of an
individual, employee, or business partner so that a recruitment
specialist maintains the confidentiality of candidate information
and ensures that this information is not divulged under any
circumstances. As recruitment specialists, we protect
candidates' and employees' data privacy. We secure the
information by storing it on computer servers in a safe and
protected environment from unauthorized access, use, or
disclosure. Another example to follow GDPR is that our
cybersecurity department sends monthly emails, periodically
changes passwords, shuts down devices, and does not reveal
company information. I must understand my role and
commitment to protecting employee data. I must also be
constantly informed of changes in data protection legislation and
ensure the continued use of employees who are fully aware of
their rights and obligations under data protection laws and are
tested regarding data security. I also ensure that new employees
are given training courses on how to protect and preserve data,
raise awareness of the General Data Protection Regulation
principles, and ensure that individuals' consent is obtained
before collecting their data. I must also ensure that the personal
data of authorized persons, such as payroll, is shared in an
official manner and with a high degree of trust. Following these
practices can help ensure the workplace complies with the Equal
Pay Act and GDPR, promoting a fair and legally compliant
environment.
2.1:
Differences in opinions are not necessarily considered harmful,
just as differences in opinion between people are a natural
result, as they are due to differences in minds and ways of
thinking. It is also considered positive in many cases, as
differences in opinions contribute to enlightening individuals with
information that they were unaware of and increase awareness.
It also helps in gaining knowledge and experience. Writer
Jonathan Roche says: “Prejudice, intolerance, and stubbornness
are the motives that push a person to come up with the best
ideas. You do not want to sit at a meeting table with people not
completely convinced of their ideas. Rather, you only want them
to present their opinions to others to discuss. Then you exploit
the resulting energy.” About their convictions, biases, and
differences for intellectual enrichment.” Thus, differences of
opinion will help you evaluate the validity of your views
compared to those that differ from them.
Every day, we face many problems, but a person must be clear
about the issue to find solutions. Also, every organization is
entire of problems, and an individual can only live life as a whole
if encountering unexpected difficulties and obstacles, making
problem-solving skills necessary. Knowledge and science alone
are not enough to solve problems; instead, possessing the
appropriate skills and the ability to address the problem
intelligently and systematically ensures effective solutions that
satisfy all parties.
Working as part of a team achieves more than you can alone,
plus teamwork can help build relationships and networks that
can benefit your career. When employees work together as a
team, it encourages them to communicate with each other. This
communication can help solve problems and improve work
quality, leading to a better understanding of tasks and smooth
workflow. In addition, teamwork can enhance a sense of
cooperation among employees. Also, working with a harmonious
and prosperous team is crucial in pursuing success in your
project or business. However, objectives must be defined clearly
and precisely. These goals are the stars illuminating the path of
collective action and cooperation. If the goals are clear and well-
defined, the team will find it easier to orient and focus on the
required tasks. Effective communication is also necessary and
plays a significant role in achieving understanding and
coordination among team members. If communication is not
done effectively, misunderstandings and conflicts can arise and
impede achieving goals. Ultimately, teamwork is the key to
building a successful business. Challenges and difficulties may
come along the way, but when you have a solid and
collaborative team, you can overcome them and succeed.
2.2:
In light of the openness in which we now live, competition in the
current labor market does not depend solely on obtaining a good
education! Also, staying informed of market developments will
help you avoid as many future mistakes as possible. It may not
satisfy the desire to obtain the job opportunity that one dreams
of in today’s competitive labor market. It would help if that had a
combination of education, experience, and multiple other skills,
including several skills. For example, if we are always aware of
what is happening in organizations, we will learn from their
mistakes and try to avoid making the same mistakes. Also, a
person can find many new opportunities by learning about
everything new in the labor market; it must arm himself with self-
development, continuous development of individual capabilities
and skills, and investment in refining the acquired experiences
permanently and continuously in order to remain in the labor
market and focus on raising the efficiency of personal traits, in
addition to supporting the cognitive aspect through research and
knowledge in the field of work. In addition, if you are always
aware of the latest trends and technologies, you can be the first
to adopt them and gain a competitive advantage by staying
informed using many tools and methods. For example, they
follow news related to the field through social media, and they
can also subscribe to newsletters. News or websites. Modern
means of communication and Internet networks have also
contributed to describing the contents of businesses, exchanging
interests, and providing the best services in the world, as they
have become a window for all businesses and the acquisition of
the skills and experience they need from individuals or
employees in the labor market. In return, it is a powerful platform
for marketing the skills and capabilities of many to obtain. Get a
job or business opportunity that suits their goals. there are
groups they can join on social media platforms like LinkedIn and
Twitter to connect with influential people in the field.
