Assessment Pattern For The Session - 2024-25
As we prepare for the upcoming academic session, we as the school wanted to share important information
regarding the assessment pattern that will be followed throughout the year. We believe that your involvement and
support are crucial in ensuring the academic success and well-being of your child, and we strive to maintain
transparency and communication in all aspects of their education.
• Revision questions shared as an assignment as homework for the chapter taught will be assessed by the
subject teacher after the completion of every Chapter.
• Questions on a similar pattern of questions as shared for revision would be implied in the examinations
conducted during the session.
• The teacher will mark students as per his observations out of 20 marks in the weekly report section as per his
performance in the class (notebooks, general behavior in the cyclic tests) whichever is applicable.
• Six Cycles of weekly Tests would be conducted as per the Specified Schedule.
• Assessments - 20 Marks assessments as subjective questions as per the shared paper pattern.
• Two tests (one each on Tuesday and Friday) would be conducted as per the schedule in general starting from
the intimation date
• Cycle 1: May onward (Weekly on Tuesday and Friday)
• Cycle 2: July (Weekly on Tuesday and Friday)
• Cycle 3: July-August (Weekly on Tuesday and Friday)
• Cycle 4: November (Weekly on Tuesday and Friday)
• Cycle 5: December (Weekly on Tuesday and Friday)
• Cycle 6: January-February (Weekly on Tuesday and Friday)
Revision-based questions as per the paper pattern would be followed during the examinations.
The assignment shared during the session will be considered as a question bank for preparation and practice for due
assessments. Additionally, certain percentage of questions would be application-based to challenge students for
Higher-order thinking skills.
