Because of the characteristics of the service delivery phase,

important for the service supply chain management.

Supplier Evaluation
The issue of the supplier appraisal is critical in the
procurement procedure because if done correctly, it ensures
that you avoid wasting money, and effort, not to mention the
embarrassment that comes with awarding a contract to a
supplier or tenderer who not only lacks the technical and
financial capacity to do the work but also operates within a
system whose values are incompatible with those pf the
procurement system.
