This Emblem represents proof of a Transportation Network Provider (TNP) Chauffeur License and Vehicle
Registration issued to the listed individual and vehicle. This Emblem must be presented to police or
authorized City of Chicago personnel. Always keep this Emblem in your vehicle while operating on a TNP
platform (ride-hail app) and display as legally required.

• Report any errors or changes on this Emblem directly to the affiliated Transportation Network
Provider (ride-hail company) listed on this Emblem.
• Produce and present this Emblem upon request by police or authorized personnel. Failure to
immediately produce may result in issuance of citations and fines.
• Print out and display current Emblem visibly on the passenger side dashboard in the vehicle
operating on a TNP platform, unless approved to display electronically. Citations and fines may be
issued for display of expired Emblems.
• This Emblem is issued for the specific vehicle (license plate# and VIN) listed on this Emblem and is
not transferrable to another vehicle.
• This Emblem is issued to the specific TNP Chauffeur listed on this Emblem and is not transferrable to
another individual. The TNP Chauffeur's photo on this Emblem must comply with legal requirements.
Individual listed must have an active TNP driver account to maintain and display an Emblem.
• Only City of Chicago authorized TNP and public passenger vehicles may pick up passengers within
the City of Chicago, at O'Hare International Airport, at Midway International Airport, and at McCormick
Place Convention Center.
• Payment of any mandated fee or tax (GTT and MPEA Airport Departure Tax) is a separate
requirement in addition to securing this Emblem.
• Securement of a public vehicle advertising permit for commercial advertising displayed in the interior
or on the exterior of a TNP vehicle is a separate requirement in addition to securing this Emblem.
