EXPERIENCE
Job Title:
Instrumentation and Control Engineer at Beni Suef Combined Cycle Power
Plant 4800MW as a main contractor with Siemens.

Job Function:
Follow up and oversee on all instrumentation installation work and perform
commissioning activities during all stages of project life construction,
commissioning and startup in accordance with the Quality Assurance/Control
plan, applicable construction permits, the engineering organization and
international codes and standards.

Responsibilities:
 Prepare and review engineering documents such as:
P&IDs, Cause and Effect diagram, Shop drawings, As-Built drawings,
Isometric drawings, Instrument Loop Sheets, Interconnecting instrument
wiring diagrams, I/O cabinet layouts, Motor control elementary wiring
diagrams, instrument lists, data sheets, electrical logic diagram, termination
diagram, I/O lists, process control system network architecture diagrams.

 Prepare documentation for procedures in the form of internal memorandum


and daily reports on all issues that may effect on project progress to ensure
delivery within quality, schedule and budgets targets.
 Participate in recommending corrective actions or methods of repair for any
non-conformance identified and ensure the work and project team members
follow the agreed upon quality and safety procedures in coordination with
Quality Auditor and HSSE Officer.

 Follow up and supervise on all construction and installation work activities


including:
- Manage, stock control, check and inventory of materials, estimation
effort hour, cost estimation & budget, work performance
and manpower planning.
- Sizing and selection criteria of material as per specification.
- Lighting, fire protection, grounding, fitting and impulse tubing work.
- Pulling, dressing, termination and testing work for power, fiber optic
and control cables.
- Instruments Rack, cables tray and conduit installation work.
- Electrical & industrial control panels installlation.
- Factory acceptance test and Site acceptance test(FAT/SAT).
- Site reviews and inspections for work and material in coordination with
consultants and subcontractors to ensure conformance with:
engineering documents, equipment specifications,QA/QC policies, safety
standards, ISA, ASME, API and IEEE standards.

 Perform construction administration activities including:


submittals, permit to work request, request for information (RFI),
inspections request (IR) and non conformance report(NCR).

 Participate in performance of all startup and commissioning systems


activities including:
- Turbine & Generator control system testing, tweaking and commissioning.
- Plant DCS system (HRSG and BOP) testing, tweaking and commissioning.
- Testing and commissioning of plant Servo’s, MOV, control valves and
solenoid valves.
- Testing, calibration, loop check, troubleshooting of plant measurement
and transimitter circuits including:
Pressure, temperature, flow, level, speed, position and
proximity & vibration probes.
- Testing and commissioning of plant analyzers including:
PH, conductivity, Silica, Phosphate, SOx, NOx, CO, Urbent Fuel
and Oxygen analyzers.
