Introduction
This document provides information regarding supported Xerox Digital Front-Ends (DFE),
controllers and printers for FreeFlow Makeready®, FreeFlow Process Manager®,
FreeFlow Express to Print, FreeFlow Output Manager®, FreeFlow Print Manager-
Advanced Print Path and JMF Service.

Compatible Printer Support

Support for new printers and Digital Front-End (DFE) releases are added to FreeFlow
applications via Service Packs. In situations where the schedule for a new printer or DFE
release does not correspond to a scheduled FreeFlow Service Pack release, Xerox may
identify an existing, compatible print path, which can be used to submit jobs from
FreeFlow to the new printer or DFE until support is formally added.

The following table lists the Xerox production printers and Digital Front-Ends that are
currently supported by FreeFlow via an existing compatible print path. To submit jobs to
the new printer/DFE releases identified below, customers should select the
corresponding compatibility print path from the FreeFlow application.

In some situations, not all features are supported when submitting jobs from FreeFlow via
the compatibility print path. However, job properties for unsupported features may still be
programmed at the DFE prior to printing the job.
