Notice of Flight Fees
CGCC Degree Program
➢ You will be paying your flight fees to CGCC, not directly to your flight provider.
➢ Please check the CGCC website for due dates for associated semester courses.
➢ You must arrange payment via one of the following methods by 6 p.m. on the due date or you will
be dropped for non-payment.
o Pay in full
o Sign up for the payment plan
▪ You must still sign up for a payment plan if you are re-enrolling in a class to finish.
Once completed, your account will be adjusted, and flight fees reduced.
o Class is secured with fully processed financial aid
o Class is secured with fully processed VA educational benefits (must arrange through
CGCC Veteran Services)
➢ Signing up for the payment plan will require a percentage of your total tuition down based on the
time in which you enroll in a plan. A $25 non-refundable fee will also be assessed per payment
plan.
➢ Under the payment plan, the remaining balance (including flight fees) is spread over the number
of months from the time you sign up until the end of the semester (up to six months). The earlier you
register, the longer you have to pay, and the smaller your monthly payment will be.
➢ Financial Aid, private funding, and veteran benefits take time to arrange. Please allow yourself
plenty of lead time to secure funding before enrolling in flight courses. If they are not completed,
you may need to pay in full or enroll in the payment plan to secure your classes.
➢ Funds are transferred from Chandler-Gilbert to UND AIMS in 3 payments (Summer) or 4 payments
(Spring/Fall) depending on the semester, regardless of if your semester has been paid in full (i.e.,
out-of-pocket, VA, financial aid). You should expect to see these funds loaded in your AIMS
account around the 15th of each month.
o If a student Defaults on their payment arrangement, accounts will be placed on hold until
they are current.
o If a student has flown over their estimated flight charges, they should expect to see these
charges processed in their Student Center around the 5th of each month (an email will be
sent from CGCC to student once charged), allowing them 1 week to make the payment of
their overage. Should the student mis this window of time, they will be placed on a
temporary flight hold. Checking your email is imperative to stay up to date on your flight
charges.
➢ Your flight fees will be included on your 1098-T tax form, which will prove beneficial for those
using tuition tax credits.

At the conclusion of each semester, or once you have received a grade, you must notify the Office
Manager at [email protected] in order to close out the course.

If there are any discrepancies with your account, you may be placed on a brief flight hold, at which point
you may not continue training.

End of course “close outs” include the following courses:

• 110 – lesson 30
• 112 – lesson 7
• 210 – 220 lesson 31
• 221 – lesson 26
• 222 – lesson 44

Page 7
• 239 – lesson 54
• 240 – lesson 15
• 230 – lesson 25

➢ Your AIMS account with UNDAF will be set up during the pre-semester workshop.
o You will be able to set up the username and password when the academic teacher has
entered the class information in AIMS, you have been TSA cleared, and are enrolled with
Records at UND
▪ Use the following link to enter your UND AIMS ID number and email address
given to UND to receive an email with your temporary password – https://aims-
