What platform/operating system is Aino running on? A java based platform, internally known as A300. How much phone memory does Aino have? 55 mb. What type of memory card is supported? microSD up to 32GB. Does Aino have a scratch resistant display? Yes. What languages are included in the phone? This depends on customization (country, operator branding etc.). A generic Swedish unit has the following languages: Danish, English, Croatian, Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish, Icelandic, Turkish, Arabic and Albanian. Does the alarm trigger when the phone is turned off? Yes. Can I use the touch functionality at all time? No, when the phone is slide open the touch functionality gets inactivated. Only when closed can you use the touch functionality. However, in some third part developed applications (Opera mini for example) you can use the touch screen when the phone is slide open. How do I activate T9? I cannot see the T9-symbol anywhere. T9 is illustrated with a new symbol. Instead of T9 theres a small pen icon in status bar. Normally when typing, the space key is located at #, where is it now? Space is now located at key 0 and switching to capital letters is located at #-key. Is it possible to change the font size? Yes, you can change the font size when reading a conversation. You can choose between small, medium and large. You can however still not change the font size when typing a new message. I have a lot of contacts; can I categorize them in any way? Yes, it is a new feature in Aino. You can add your contacts to different categories. Business, Family and Friends are the default categories but you can add your own categories as well. You can setup each category with different ringtones, messaging signals and also a picture. There is a menu under security about antivirus, is it free to use? There is a 30 day free period included, but youll have to activate it on your own. When these 30 days has expired youll need to contact F-Secure if you want to extend your subscription. Can I record calls with Aino? Yes.

Which navigation software is included in Aino? Wisepilot and Google maps. Is Wisepilot free to use? A 30 day trial period is included and activates the first time you start the application. There is something called Remote Play under Entertainment, what is this? Remote Play is a feature that allows you to access the media by connecting your phone via Wi-Fi or 3G to a PlayStation3. When you setup Remote Play in the phone you will be asked to enter a registration code. This code is generated by the PS3 when you setup the Remote settings. In camera mode you only get full screen 16:9 with 6 megapixels, if you want to use 8 megapixel mode the phone will use 4:3 in non-full screen mode. Some other changes are that you can set the self timer to 2 sec, 10 sec or off. When recording videos you can choose a mode called nHD which stands for Near High Definition.
