 ADMISSION PROCEDURES

Please refer to MMU’s website for the closing date for each intake.

STEP 1
Complete the online application procedures (www.mmu.edu.my)
- Passport page with personal details
- Academic qualifications
- English Language Proficiency Certificate (IELTS / equivalent) [if any]

STEP 2
MMU issues Offer Letter / Conditional Offer Letter for successful application via email

STEP 3
Please follow the instructions given in your Login Portal.
1. Acceptance Form
2. Payment Proof of International Processing Fee, RM2,850 (non-refundable) (Initial payment to be paid upon receiving Offer Letter)
3. Health Declaration Form
4. Passport Copy (ALL pages; inclusive blank pages). Passport validity must be more than 18 months
5. All Academic Records
6. Recent passport size photographs (4.5cm x 3.5cm and without white border) with WHITE BACKGROUND
7. Affidavit Letter (If there is any discrepancy in name or date of birth on the passport and academic transcript
8. Release Letter & Attendance Report from other institution if you have studied in Malaysia before (if any)

• Student is advised to submit their application at least 8 weeks before the commencement date of the intake.

STEP 4
Receiving approval of Student Pass [Visa Approval Letter (VAL)]
• MMU will notify the student via email with the softcopy of their VAL
• Students are strongly advised NOT TO ENTER Malaysia before obtaining the Visa Approval Letter

STEP 5
Obtain Entry Visa from nominated Malaysian Embassy / Consulate (If required)
• Students are required to follow the instructions provided with the email on how to obtain the Entrance Visa

STEP 6
Travel to Malaysia & report to MMU
• Students must notify MMU of their arrival date at least 7 working days before arrival. A notification must be sent to:
