II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Cleaning our surroundings is essential because it helps us to stay away from disease, and for the insects
that carry disease will be eliminated, such as mosquitoes. It can help to promote good health, since we are
cleaning things that will help us to prevent disease from occurring not only to us, but also to other people
in Pandacan, Manila.

III. PROJECT RATIONALE

Currently in our country you can see trash everywhere and it is not good for our health. Cleanliness will
help us not just to prevent disease, namely, Dengue and Malaria, it can also preserve the beauty of our
environment. Isn’t it good and refreshing to have a clean environment and breathe fresh air. Having a
lot of trash can also affect us when there is a typhoon because it can clog the sewage, and it can
cause floods, also it can pollute the waters. One of the most common issues aside from discipline is that
there are no available trash bins, that is why they throw it at the road, sidewalks, and sewage. So, I
propose this project, so that they will have an environment that is clean and prevents disease from
occurring and spreading.
