Theme: “Bridgetines: Growth in Faith,

Grace of Resilience”

Rev. Msgr. Edgardo Pagcaliuangan

Officiating Priest

Introduction to the Mass (Adelord )

Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.’ True
faith in God is believing without seeing and believing without seeing is
blessedness.

It has been 16 years of molding Bridgetines after the values and character
taught by St. Mary Euphrasia, St. John Eudes and St. Bridget leading these
young lives to follow the will of our Shepherd God. As we celebrate the
graduation and moving up ceremonies of Batch 2023, we open the tabernacle
of God’s blessings for the past fruitful years. We are gathered today to
entrust our Completers and Graduating Class to our Lord, and as an act of
thanks giving for the success of this Academic Year.

Every moment, the Lord is providing us a new beginning –to encourage

everyone to face what the future may bring and is calling us to use all
situations in our lives whether positive or negative as chances for learning
and reflection. Let us thank God our heavenly Father for giving us a life full
of love, hope, faith and grace of resilience in the midst of many challenges
we are facing.

For all of us Bridgetines present today, let us always be grateful to God for
giving us St. Bridget College Alitagtag and to the people who have
contributed to us to become better persons especially for their endless support
and guidance. Together, let us go forth with our lamp lighted with hope, love,
faith and resilience.

Let us all rise and sing the entrance hymn.

H’wag kayong mangamba, buong pusong manalig sa Kanya.
Siya’y hindi tatahimik hanggat hindi kayo lumaya.
(Koro)
Sumigaw ka ng papuri bayan ng Dios.

Magalak kayong lumapit sa Kanya,

You form a building which rises on the foundation of the
apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the
capstone.
21
Through him, the whole structure is fitted together and take
shape as a holy temple in the Lord;
22
in him, you are being built into this temple, to become a
dwelling place for God in the Spirit.

PRAYER OF THE FAITHFUL

gifted with love and compassion.

grace of resilience.

1. That Pope Francis, bishops, priests, nuns and religious may always be
empowered by God, the Father, as they do their missions with joy,
energy, and fidelity. Let us pray to the Lord.

2. That God the Holy Spirit may enlighten the minds and hearts of leaders
as they uphold the common good of people and that we may refrain
from passing judgment on others but look instead at our own lives in
the eyes of God. Let us pray to the Lord.

3. That the Religious of the Good Shepherd, SBCA teaching and non-
teaching personnel may continue deepening loving relationship with
Jesus our Good Shepherd as we shepherd the children under our care.
Let us pray to the Lord.

4. That Bridgetines graduates and completers 2023 may embrace the

loving heart of St. John Eudes, the burning zeal of St. Mary Euphrasia,
and the compassionate actions of St. Bridget. Let us pray to the Lord.

5. That parents may become channels of God’s goodness and extension of

the Lord’s merciful love and that the Lord may strengthen those who
have been unjustly accused and that the deceased may find happiness
and peace in God’s embrace. Let us pray to the Lord.

Priest: Most generous Father, you guide us along the right path;
your Son is always there beside us. Comfort us by
granting these prayers through Christ our Lord.

Ang munting alay mula sa amin
Buong puso naming hihintayin
Pagpapala na aming hiling

Priest: Blessed are you, Lord, God of all creation. Through Your
goodness we have this bread to offer, which earth has
given and human hands have made. It will become for us
bread of life.

People: Blessed be God forever.

Priest: Blessed are you, Lord, God of all creation. Through Your
goodness we have this wine to offer, fruit of the vine and
work of human hands. It will become our spiritual drink.

People: Blessed be God forever.

Commentator: Please all rise.

Priest: Pray, brethren, that my sacrifice and yours may be

acceptable to God, the Almighty Father.

People: May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands

for the praise and glory of His name, for our good,
and the good of all His Holy Church.

PRAYER OVER THE GIFTS

Priest: We render you, O Lord, the service that is your due,

humbly imploring you to keep safe your gifts in us, as we
honor the confession of the Apostle Saint Thomas and
offer a sacrifice of praise through Christ our Lord.

EUCHARISTIC PRAYER
Priest: The Lord be with you.

People: And with your spirit.

Priest: Lift up your hearts

People: We lift them up to the Lord

Priest: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.

People: It is right and just.

Priest: It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation,
always and everywhere to give you thanks, Lord,
holy Father, almighty and eternal God.

For you, eternal Shepherd, do not desert your flock, but

through the blessed Apostles watch over it and protect
it always, so that it may be governed by those who
have appointed shepherds to lead it in the name of
your Son.

And so, with the Angels and Archangels, with Thrones

and Dominions, and with all the hosts and Powers of
heaven, we sing the hymn of your glory, as without end
we acclaim:

SANTO
Santo, Santo, Santo
Panginoong D'yos ng mga hukbo.
Napupuno ang langit at lupa
Ng kadakilaan Mo.

Osana sa kaitaasan.
Pinagpala ang naparirito sa ngalan ng Panginoon.
Osana sa kaitaasan.
Osana sa kaitaasan.
Commentator: Please all kneel.
CONSECRATION

Priest: Lord you are holy indeed, the fountain of holiness.

Let your Spirit come upon these gifts to make them
holy, so that they may become for us the body and
blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

For when the hour had come for him to be

glorified by you, Father most holy, having loved his
own who were in the world, he loved them to the
end: and while they were at supper, he took bread,
blessed and broke it and gave it to his disciples,
saying: TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND EAT OF IT;
THIS IS MY BODY WHICH WILL BE GIVEN UP FOR YOU.

In similar way, taking the chalice filled with the fruit

of the vine, he gave thanks, and gave the chalice
to his disciples, saying: TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU,
AND DRINK FROM IT, FOR THIS IS THE CHALICE OF MY
BLOOD, THE BLOOD OF THE NEW AND ETERNAL
COVENANT, WHICH WILL BE POURED OUT FOR YOU AND
FOR MANY FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS. DO THIS IN
MEMORY OF ME.

Priest: The Mystery of Faith.

ACCLAMATION

SA KRUS MO AT PAGKABUHAY
Sa Krus Mo at pagkabuhay
kami'y natubos Mong tunay.
Poong Hesus naming mahal,
iligtas mo kaming tanan.
Ngayon at magpakailanman.

Priest: In memory of his death and resurrection, we offer

you Father, this life-giving bread, this saving cup.
We thank you for counting us worthy to stand in
your presence and serve you.

May all of us who share in the body and blood of Christ

be brought together in unity by the Holy Spirit. Lord,
remember your church throughout the world; make
us grow in love, together with Francis, our Pope,
with our Bishop Gilbert and all the clergy.

Remember our brothers and sisters who have gone to

their rest in the hope of rising again; bring them all the
departed into the light of your presence.

Have mercy on us all; make us worthy to share eternal life

with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Caysasay
Mother of God and all Batangueños, with St. Joseph, her
spouse, patron of the diocese, with the blessed apostles,
and all the Saints who have done your will throughout
the ages. May we praise you in union with them, and
give you glory through your Son, Jesus Christ.

Through him, with him, in him in the unity of the

Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is yours, almighty
Father, forever and ever.
People:
DAKILANG AMEN
Amen. Amen. Amen.
A-men. Amen. Amen.
Ame-n. A—men

Priest: Jesus taught us to call God our Father, and so we

have the courage to say:

People:

Priest: Deliver us, Lord, from every evil, and graciously

grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your
mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe
from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and
the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

People:
SAPAGKAT

Sapagka't sa iyo ang kaharian,

ang kapangyarihan at ang kapurihan
magpakailanman. Amen

SIGN OF PEACE

Priest: Lord Jesus Christ, you said to your apostles: I

leave you peace, my peace I give you. Look not on
our sins, but on the faith of your Church, and grant
us the peace and unity of your kingdom where you
live forever and ever.
People: Amen
Priest: The peace of the Lord be with you always.
People: And with your spirit.

Priest: Let us offer each other the sign of peace.

Communion Songs
AWIT NG PAGHAHANGAD

O Diyos, Ikaw ang laging hanap

Loob ko'y Ikaw ang tanging hangad
Nauuhaw akong parang tigang na lupa
Sa tubig ng 'Yong pag-aaruga.

Ika'y pagmamasdan sa dakong banal

Nang makita ko ang 'Yong pagkarangal
Dadalangin akong nakataas aking kamay
Magagalak na aawit ng papuring iaalay.

Gunita ko'y Ikaw habang nahihimlay

Pagkat ang tulong Mo sa tuwina'y taglay
Sa lilim ng Iyong mga pakpak
Umaawit akong buong galak.

Umaawit akong buong galak
Umaawit, umaawit
Umaawit akong buong galak.

Commentator: Let us all rise for the prayer after communion.
