About e-Conference

The exponential growth of urban and industrial sectors has placed a significant burden
on our agricultural and environmental resources in recent times. In the pursuit of meeting
global food demands, there has been a significant depletion of the Earth and its natural
resources at an alarming rate. Furthermore, the mismanagement of essential resources,
including soil, air and water, has resulted in several environmental challenges which are
directly impacting agricultural sector. As the global population continues to grow, the
necessity for scientific basis for the sustainable utilization and preservation of agricultural and
environmental resources becomes increasingly important. Currently, sustainable
development represents a powerful way for the harmonization of the agriculture and
environmental sectors. The 1st International e-Conference on Agro-Environmental
Sustainability (ICAGENS 2024), will provide a forum and opportunity for scientists, engineers,
educators, and practitioners to disseminate the most recent advances in theories,
technologies, and practical applications in the fields of agriculture and environmental
sustainability.
