Customer complaints:

Unit T792 first case, all cylinder head was Remove from engine due to indication valve exhaust shake condition and oil
sampling result high wear metal and high silica condition and Customers claim warranty due to low service hours.

Summary of findingsT792 first case

1. SOS engine oil sampling taken- result high wear metal, and contamination in oil lubrication trending high
silica (Si)
2. Magnetic plug -result rating A, there are not particle
3. Engine oil filter cutting – result rating A, there are not particle
4. Electronic Engine- data monitoring much event engine oil level active, data is only up to April 2024, but
there is no data on May 2024until the engine is broken
5. Cylinder head number 1, found one valve exhaust shake and guide valve abnormal wear but one each valve
normal wear condition.
6. 11 each cylinder head already removes from engine and not have issue valve shake
7. 4 each cylinder head already disassembly
8. History Preventive Maintenance (not available)

Conclusion based on the evidence and data received

After analyzing the damage to cylinder head number 1, it was found that one exhaust valve was shaking and guide worn
out but the other exhaust valve and guide was normal wear condition.

From these findings, possible cause of valve shaking because valve gauge installation is not straight or misalighment, so
that when the valve moves up and down it results in abnormal wear valve stem and guide and finally valve guide worn out.

Corective action

After Installation guide using plug gauge to prevent misaligment and dial depth gauge.

(Plug gauge p/n 6V-7058 and 6V-7068 depth gauge 6V-2012 ( see atachment illustration 40 and 53.)
