Subscription management

How can I add/delete a user ?

Here is the procedure to delete a specific user and you can also add a user manually without
asking the help of your account manager. But while doing so, you need to make sure that your
subscription has been updated (see next point).

How can I update my subscription ?

It depends on the recurrence of your contract. If you are on a monthly basis, your subscription
will be updated automatically. But as soon as you would like to decrease the number of users
on your database, please contact your account manager. For example, if you add a user on the
1th January and your invoice date is on the 25th January, you will be charged for the added user
at that time. If you have any doubt about the number of users that are installed on your database
against the one that are on your subscription, do not hesitate to contact your dedicated account
manager.

If you have a yearly subscription you can already install the new users on your database and then
you can contact your account manager that will provide you with a new quotation.
What are the differences between the standard and the custom plan?
The standard plan gives access to all Odoo modules except Odoo studio which is included in the
custom subscription.

In terms of hosting types, it is necessary to have a custom subscription to have access to

Odoo.sh or to be hosted on premise. Note that you need an annual subscription to be hosted on
your own servers.

Finally, to have access to the multi company feature, it is also necessary to have a custom
subscription.

If you have any questions regarding the different subscriptions, you will find the differences here
or you can contact your account manager.

How can I close my subscription?

If you want to close your subscription and delete your account, you just have to contact your
account manager who is able to proceed with it. Be careful, we ask our customer to warn us at
least one month ahead in order to cancel the subscription if your plan is on a monthly basis.

How can I change my hosting type?
Here is the procedure for changing the hosting type. Please note that you may also need to
adapt your subscription, so please contact your account manager who will be able to advise you
in a proper manner.

Do you plan to make developments or install third party apps ?

Be careful !

If you need to change your hosting type (to Odoo.sh or on premise) in order to make
developments or install third party apps, you first need to make sure that you are on a major
version such as V16.0 (16.1, 16.2, 16.3, … are considered as minor versions and cannot support
developments).

If you intend to make developments and/or change your hosting type while you’re on a minor
version, you either need to create a new database from scratch on V16.0 or you’ll have to wait
until the new release. Please contact your dedicated account manager for such requests.
