Programming Guide for Vizia Dimmers


and Quiet Fan Speed Control
I. DIMMER PROGRAMMING

can dim to prior to turning fully OFF.
• Dim-Lock–Set the brightness level that the lights turn ON to regardless
of the previous light level at which they were turned OFF.
• Fade Rate–Set the amount of time (in seconds) that the lights will have to
turn ON or OFF. Fade rates can be set to one of seven different settings.

TO PROGRAM: Light

NOTE: Have a flashlight handy if this dimmer controls the only light source in the room.
1. Engage the air gap switch on the dimmer by gently pulling on the bottom of the push pad until it lifts completely out of the frame
and a click is heard, and all LEDs are off.
2. Press push pad back into frame, hold push pad for 7 seconds until the locator light and the top LED (LED 1) starts blinking.
3. Upon releasing the push pad the locator light will continue to blink once per second, indicating the dimmer is in Mode 1 (Set Minimum
Brightness Mode). To change Minimum Brightness level from 1-50%, use DIM/BRIGHT bar. Setting will automatically be saved.
4. Tap the push pad to change to Mode 2 (Set Dim-Lock Level Mode). The locator LED will blink twice per second. To change the
current Dim-Lock level, use the DIM/BRIGHT bar to choose the desired level from 0-100%. If the Dim-Lock feature is not
desired, press and hold the lower half of the DIM/BRIGHT Bar until no LED is lit. This setting will automatically be saved.
5. Tap the push pad to change to Mode 3 (Set Fade Rate Mode). The locator LED will blink 3 times per second. To change the
current Fade Rate use the DIM/BRIGHT Bar to move the LED to the desired preset level seperated by 7 segments LED 1 being the top
LED. Each LED represents a preset level. LED 1 represents Preset #1 and is located at the top of the LED Brightness Display. LED 2
represents Preset #2 and is located below LED 1, etc. (refer to the chart for settings). The setting is automatically saved after the
adjustment is made by tapping the push pad to exit the programming mode.
Note: The device will exit the programming mode by completing the programming sequence, or by allowing device to time out after
3 minutes of inactivity.

Notes:
Default setting for all dimmers is preset #1.
The Press and Hold feature for the 10-second Delayed-OFF is disabled in preset #2.

II. QUIET FAN SPEED CONTROL PROGRAMMING

THE VIZIA QUIET FAN SPEED CONTROL


PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING ADVANCED PROGRAMMING FEATURE:
• Speed-Lock – Sets the Fan speed level to automatically turn ON at the preset level
regardless of the previous fan speed at which it was turned OFF.
Applicable Cat. Number – VZF01

TO PROGRAM:
1. Engage the air-gap switch on the fan speed control by gently pulling on the bottom of the push pad until it lifts completely
out of the frame and a click is heard, and all LEDs are off.
2. Press push pad back into frame and hold the push pad for 7 seconds until the locator light and the top LED (LED 1)
starts blinking.
3. Upon releasing the push pad, the locator light will indicate that the fan speed control’s programming is in Set Speed-Lock mode
by blinking twice per second.
4. To change the current Speed-Lock level, use the Fan Speed Bar to choose the level from high (LED 1),
Medium (LED 4) or Low (LED 7). If the Speed-Lock feature is not desired, press and hold the lower half of the Fan Speed Bar
until no LED is lit. When adjustment is made, the setting is automatically saved. Tap the push pad to exit the programming mode.
Note: The device will exit the programming mode by completing the programming sequence, or by allowing device
to time out after 3 minutes of inactivity.
