On the Toeic Test, you will need to
remember specific details from the conversation. You will have to improve your memory as well as your listening skills. Read the questions quickly before you listen to the conversation, and then listen for the answers. Questions 1 through 3 refer to the following conversation. I'm really tired today. We didn't get back from our trip until late last night. That's right. You just spent a week skiing in the mountains. How was it? It was fantastic. I can't remember the last time I had so much fun. Aren't you planning to take a vacation soon? No, not until after July. I have to wait until I return from my business trip to Hong Kong. I'm planning to rent a house at the beach for the first week of August. Number 1. When did the woman return from her vacation? Number 2. Where will the man spend his vacation? Number 3. That sounds good. Then I think it'll be time for a coffee break. Let's put Tom's presentation after the coffee break. That should take us to lunch. Fine. After lunch we can go over the quarterly report and organize the planning committee. I think we can manage to cover everything before the end of the day. Number 4. When will the meeting begin? Then if it doesn't rain, we'll have a walking tour of some of the nearby monuments. Before arriving at our restaurant for lunch at 12. Then it's off to the art museum for the afternoon. A walking tour? Well, I hope we don't have to walk too far. And I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to get to the shopping district. Number 10. When will they leave the Natural History Museum? Number 11. How will they visit the monuments? Number 12. When will they see the monuments? Questions 13 through 15 refer to the following conversation. I tried calling you last night, but you weren't home. Where were you? I went to the movies with some friends after work. I told you to call me this morning because I knew I'd be out all day yesterday. Sorry. I forgot. So, are you still interested in seeing the play? I want to buy the tickets today.
