AFFIDAVIT IN SUPPORT OF PETITION FOR LETTERS OF ADMINISTRATION


WITH WRITTEN WILL ANNEXED

I, EVAN KIMANI MUNGA of P.O. Box 53548 00200 Nairobi, make oath and say as follows:
1. The full name of the deceased to whose estate the proceedings herein relate is PETER MUNGA
WAINAINA and I am the petitioner named in the petition herein dated the day of
2021 upon which I have endorsed my name at the time of swearing this affidavit.

2. The deceased died on the 10th day of July 2017, at the Kenyatta National Hospital as appears
from the attached Certificate of death marked “EKM I” upon which I have written my name at
the time of swearing hereof.

3. The deceased was at the time of his death domiciled in Kenya and his last known place of
residence was at Gachie within Kiambu County.

4. The deceased died leaving a valid written will dated the 9 th Day of September 2015.

5. I am seeking a grant of representation to the deceased on the grounds that I am a son of the
deceased.

6. The following is a full inventory of all the assets and liabilities of the deceased at the date of his
death including such assets as have arisen or become known since that date.

Assets:
(a) Motor Vehicle Registration Number KBS 940S, Toyota Pro Box Station wagon.
(b) Plot Number KIAMBAA/KIHARA/T640
(c) Title Number KIAMBAA/KIAMBAA968
(d) Account number 1103820095 held at KCB Bank Tom Mboya Branch
(e) Account Number 0124300557600 held at National Bank Harambee Avenue Branch.
(f) One Hundred and Ninety Two (192) East African Breweries Shares
Total estimated value Kshs. Nine Million

7. The deceased was survived by the following other dependants: NIL

8. The facts herein deponed to are known to my personal knowledge.
