CIPS Power Achievers Toastmasters Club

Thank you for your expressed interest in joining CIPS Power Achievers Toastmasters Club.

Toastmasters International is the only organization devoted to making effective Public speaking a
worldwide reality. As a Toastmaster you develop the skills of speaking, listening, and thinking. You enhance
your self-confidence through public speaking, develop a lifelong network of professional individuals. You
learn by doing as you follow a Pathway and get immediate feedback to help you refine your message as
a speaker. We help individuals become better speakers and leaders through practice of speeches and
evaluation. Members draw strength from one another and take pride in helping each other grow This spirit
of camaraderie and mutual support is one of the most satisfying benefits of Toastmasters membership. It
also makes learning educational and fun.

Toastmasters Mission Statement

The mission of the Toastmasters program is to provide a mutually supportive and positive
learning environment in which participants have the opportunity to develop oral
communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal
growth.

Why CIPS Power Achievers?

Our Club can proudly boast of having several Distinguished Toastmasters (DTM) who have achieved
accolades at both the Speech Awards and Leadership Awards. Apart from the regular scheduled
meetings the club along with the Division host several online training workshops on a variety of topics
related to the Toastmaster journey. The club also hosts occasionally, ‘Games Night’ where the
Toastmasters hats are taken off and we just celebrate and have an evening of fun and games.
