A Civil Engineer’s Daily Duties

first person

Good morning teacher and classmates. My name is josue castrellon, I am a


student studying at the university of panama. As soon as I arrive at the university, I
greet the professor. Then I turn on the cell phone and checked some of the email
and platform, then I connect to the class that I have assigned.
When I'm done with the class I start doing my homework like:

• Verify that the platforms are working properly.


• participate in academic activities that help to complete the different
questions given.
• Development of different works for the project guide.
• Irepeat acts that occur during an explanation of a teaching.
• plan different areas of what is given of a task or work.
• create tables that allow me to identify different points to develop
activities.

Then when I finish, I have lunch with my family, where we share some news that is
at the national level, and different areas of the country as well as the improvements
that are in construction.
After lunch I go back to the studio and normally:
• Analyze questions that I must solve.
• Solve problems that have different platforms.
• Prepare documents for the realization of projects and then deliver
them.
• Use words that can be understood by colleagues or peers
• Help colleagues to solve jobs or tasks.
• Note that all equipment used is in good condition.

Before leaving the meeting, I check that the device works well, review my notes,
tidy up the place and say goodbye to the teacher.
Daily Duties

third person

Good morning teacher and classmates. Today I am going to talk to you


about my colleague Antony, who is a student, studies science at the IPT
Elena Chaves de Pinate school, as soon as he arrives at school he greets
his classmates, then checks the notebook to see some practices on the
topic explained above. Then write down the indications that the teacher will
explain to you, then develop some pending workshops, then verify that
everything is in order. Some tasks he does during school are:

• Attend class on time.


• Keep notebooks up to date in all subjects.
• Review partials in class.
• Listen carefully to what is explained in class.
• Behave in an orderly manner in the classroom.
• Always respect your classmates and teachers.
Then he goes to lunch with his classmates where he talks about some
history and books, then he returns to the classroom and in general:
• Check the notebook to make sure everything is in order.
• Helps explain problems to classmates in a subject.
• Help volunteer at the blackboard to solve math problems.
• Participates in different questions that the teacher asks.
• Take advantage of the time to draw some ideas.
• Ask a question you don't understand.
Before leaving the classroom, write down tasks that the teacher leaves for
the next class. Then he puts away all his supplies and says goodbye to the
teacher and classmates.
