Chardham Yatra Uttarakhand, also known as the Char Dham, is a four-part pilgrimage tour of
Hindu religious sites in India. The Chardham Yatra Uttarakhand takes you to the four holiest
destinations of the Hindus: Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri It is believed that
performing this tour purifies one's mind and soul from all earthly bonds and instills a sense of
freedom. En route to these destinations, pilgrims also visit many other holy places which include
Rishikesh, Haridwar, and many more.

DAY DESTINATION PARTICULARS
INDORE – Delhi
(Flight) Departure from INDORE to Delhi by flight. Upon arrival pickup from
Day 01 Delhi airport and drive to Haridwar. On arrival check in to hotel, dinner
Delhi – Haridwar overnight stay in Haridwar.

Haridwar – Barkot Today after breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed to Barkot. Evening
(200 Kms Approx) arrival to Barkot check in at hotel.
Day 02 Uttarkashi –
Guptkashi / Sitapur Check out from hotel and proceed to Guptkashi / Sitapur. Evening arrival
(290 / Kms Approx) to Guptkashi / Sitapur transfer to hotel, after dinner overnight stay.
Early morning 4:am checkout from hotel and proceed to Sonprayag the
reservation counter for booking Pony & Palki services from here (own
Guptkashi / Sitapur
cost) for Kedarnath journey. After booking Pony & Palki take local shuttle
– Kedarnath / Driving Taxi services (own cost) to reach Gaurikund the base point of Kedarnath.
Day 03
35 / Trekking route begin from here, On arrival to Kedarnath check in to hotel,
Trekking 16 Approx after freshen up visit Kedarnath temple for evening Aarti Darshan.
Overnight stay at Kedarnath.
Early morning today 5: am visit the Kedarnath temple for Pooja/Darshan/
Kedarnath – Abhishek. Amongst the 12th Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva 11th is situated in
Gaurikund - Sitapur Kedarnath. The ancient temple of Kedarnath was built by Pandavas and
/ Guptkashi One renovated by Jagat Guru Shankaracharya in 7th century. After breakfast

Side Trek 16 Kms / checkout from hotel and trek down to Gaurikund 16km trek. On arrival to
Driving 35 Kms Gaurikund take shuttle Taxi services for Sonprayag (own cost) pickup &
Approx transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at Sitapur / Guptkashi.

Today after early morning breakfast proceed to Badrinath, en route visit

Narsingh Swami Temple at Josimath. In evening arrival to Badrinath
Guptkashi / Sitapur- (3400m), transfer to hotel after freshens up visit Badrinath Temple for
Day 05 Badrinath (220 – 250 evening Arati / Darshan. After the visit to the shrine come back to hotel,
Kms Approx) dinner overnight stay in Badrinath.

Early morning 4: am today visit Badrinath Temple for Abhishek/ Alankar

darshan. The present holy temple of Badrinath was built by Adi Guru
Shankaracharya during 7th century. The main idol of Lord Vishnu is built
of black stone known as “Salegram”. Before the visit of Badrinath temple
Badrinath – one must take a holy dip inside “Taptkunda” a natural hot water spring

Day 07 Haridwar (160 Kms Haridwar. Evening at leisure. One can enjoy Ganga Aarti (at their own).

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Delhi. On arrival drop to
Haridwar – Delhi- Airport to board your scheduled flight for further journey to

INDORE Indore/Bhopal.
Tour concludes with everlasting memories of Chardham.

Note: The above tour program can be altered, modified or changed keeping in view the operational
feasibility, guests convenience and safety on priority and due to any unavoidable circumstances if any arises

• Pony Charges, Helicopter Charges & Palki Charges are not included in tour price. It has to
be directly borne by the tourist. IRCTC will have no role in this.
• Registration of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath to be done by passengers only

• Some of the Treks, as per the itinerary, involve a continuous ascent of gradual and steep
gradients which may be strenuous. Dandies (local Palanquin) and ponies are available and the
charges will have to bear all the expenses by the travelers/tourists.
• In case of onsite exigencies resulting in additional cost, Tourists will have to bear the cost as
per local conditions.
• Pilgrims are advised to get their medical health check up done brfore proceeding for the
yatra. Pilgrims with any medical condition shall consult with their doctors and proceed with
booking as per doctor’s advise accordingly. Pilgrims are advised to keep the necessary
medicines with them.

• Transfers and Sightseeing tours are on SIC (seat in coach) / shared basis by A/C vehicle.
• Arrival / departure transfers & sightseeing tours shall be provided as per schedule fixed by
the hotel. However this may require you to wait at the airport for short duration until all the
guests arriving at that time exit the airport.
• The request for an adjacent or an adjoining room will be on subject to availability.
• It is mandatory to carry the age proof for all passengers including infants along with other
travel documents. Child above than 11 yrs shall be considered for an adult cost.
 • In airline no seat is provided to Infant.
• Guest with physical disability should be accompanied by Family Members. Additional
assistance like wheelchair may be arranged by the guest at their own cost on-site.
• Room allocation (Twin bed / Double bed) is at the discretion of the hotel. The check in and
checkout time of the hotel is 12 to 12 noon. Numbers of meals are always corresponding to
the number of nights booked.
• In hotels for an extra Adult / Child either Rollaway bed or mattress or sofa cum bed shall be
provided.
• For early check in and late check out the payment is to be settled directly by the guest.
• Hotel has the right to claim the damages incurred by any of the guest.
• The guests are requested to take care of their personal belongings carefully and avoid leaving
them unattended.
• The airfares and taxes are calculated as on a mentioned date and any increase in the Taxes or
airfares will be borne by the customer.
• For any change in Flight Timings/diversions, Flight cancellation from the airline IRCTC will
not be responsible and if it further affects the Sightseeing/Itinerary client need to

• Cost of additional services availed by the guest which are not part of our package inclusions
are to be settled directly at the hotel.
• Meals will be provided at fixed venue decided by the hotel. Timings: Breakfast: 0700 - 0900
hrs Dinner: 1930 - 2200 hrs. These are the standard buffet timings observed by the hotels.
Still you are kindly requested to check the perfect timings at the time of check in at the hotel.
Once the buffet time is over the hotel might ask you to pay for your meals.

• There will be no refund for un-utilized services.

• SURCHARGES: The prices shown are based on known costs and airfare at the time of tour
launching the tour and IRCTC does not expect to have to make any changes. In case of
unforeseen increase in national or local taxation or factors beyond control, IRCTC reserves
the right to impose a surcharge or revise the tour cost.
• FORCE MAJEURE: In these booking conditions, 'force majeure' means any event which
IRCTC / the supplier of the service(s) in question / the Third Party Supplier could not, even
with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include disruptions/diversions of air
services, floods, and earthquakes whether actual or threatened war, riot, civil strife, actual or
 threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather
conditions, disease, fire and all similar events outside the control of the party concerned.
We cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt
performance of our obligations under our agreement with you is prevented or affected by, or
you otherwise suffer any damage or loss as a result of, 'force majeure'.
• OUR LIABILITY TO YOU: IRCTC will not be responsible for any injury, illness, death,
loss, damage, expense, cost or other claim of any description whatsoever which results from:
1.the act(s) and / or omission(s) of the person(s) affected or any member(s) of their party; or
2.the act(s) and / or omission(s) of a third party not connected with the provision of your
arrangements and which were unforeseeable or unavoidable; or
3.any service or facility not arranged by us as part of our contract with you; or 'force majeure'
as defined above.

We do not accept liability for:

• 1. Any damage, loss, expense or other sum(s) of any description which based on the
information you gave us at the time of booking, we could not have foreseen you would suffer
or incur if we breached our contract with you 2.Any business losses.
3. Excursions or other tours or any other travel services taken and paid for by you which have
not been provided by us whilst you are on our tour. In such instances, your contract will be
with the operator / supplier of the excursion or tour or travel services and not with us.

CONDITIONS OF TRAVEL:

You will have to strictly follow the tour program. There would be no refund if you fail to join
the group at the commencement of the tour, or join the group later or leave the group before
culmination of the tour for any reasons whatsoever. You are responsible to register with the
representative of the Company at the appointed date, place and time and you would be
treated as a no-show if you fail to do so. Under no circumstances would any refund be given
for any unutilized services. You shall not behave in a manner which may cause distress or
annoyance to other co-travelers or which may create the risk of danger or damage to property
of the Company, cotravelers or others. In this event, you may be asked to leave the tour
immediately. The Company shall be under no liability to any such person.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation Policy: For cancellation of your ticket, please log in to your account, select the Tour
Confirmation Number of the ticket you wish to cancel and cancel your ticket from your booked
history on line. Cancellation of your Ticket is possible only on the website www.irctctourism.com,
and is not possible on PRS Counters. If the user wishes to cancel his ticket, cancellation rules for
Land (Holiday) and Rail Tour Packages as under:

a. Senior citizen passenger must get their medical check-up before booking the tour & senior

Being a group tour, personalized service is not viable. Hence, please converge with the group.
