Introduction
Throughout the semester, in the English subject, a
booklet was prepared that compiles all the activities
carried out. This booklet is a valuable tool to review and
consolidate the knowledge acquired. Each activity has
been carefully documented, including a brief description
of its purpose and content. From grammar and
vocabulary exercises, to writing and speaking, this
booklet offers a comprehensive view of the progress and
skills developed over the course of the semester.
UNIT 1
Course Expectation
During the first session of the
English course, we were
asked to write down our
expectations about what we
hoped to learn and achieve
throughout the course.
Describe your friend

In this session they asked us to make a


description of a friend or classmate,
recounting their physical and personal
characteristics.
Describe a place

In this activity we made a video where we


talked about our favorite place, we had to
describe it and tell why we like that place.
Ego4U

This activity consisted of entering the Ego4U


platform and carrying out 3 activities to reinforce
or provide feedback on the English language.
Milestones
In this activity we make
a graphic organizer of
our choice to capture 5
goals that we have
already achieved in our
life and another 5 that
we want to achieve in
the future.
Kahoot

Here we held a team kahoot so that


our classmates answered the
questions and the team that
collected the most points won.
How to fix something that is
damage

This activity consisted of choosing


3 household objects and we would
describe what we could do if they
broke down and how to fix it.
Exam

At the end of unit 1, the teacher administered a simple


test, but a surprise question asked you about the
teacher's name and many classmates answered wrong.
UNIT 2
Different cultures
In this activity we got together in teams of 5 members, each of us
chose a country where we would talk about its culture, traditions,
clothing, gastronomy, etc.
Cultural week
In the cultural week we face different activities,
for example, the caravan tour, sports, children's
round, rock and roll dance and at the end we
present a pedagogical exhibition.
Exam
The exam we took was a presentation on an environmental problem, for
example I chose global warming and mentioned what it consists of, its
consequences and what alternatives we can take to improve this problem.
UNIT 3
Methodology
We organized as a team to carry out
a dynamic strategy where English
vocabulary was strengthened.

My team did a knowledge test where


we saw the vocabulary of directions,
we organized the group into teams
and each one had to solve different
stations with physical activities.
Debate

In this activity, a presentation was made about what


debate is, its definition, characteristics, function, types,
structure and the rules that make up debate.
Work Plans
In this activity, a schedule was
made that describes each hour the
activities I do from the moment I
wake up until I go to sleep, for an
entire week.
Conclusions
In conclusion, the study of English has allowed significant enrichment in
various areas of language learning. In vocabulary, numerous new words and
expressions have been incorporated, expanding our ability to communicate
in a more precise and varied way. Regarding grammar, fundamental and
advanced structures have been addressed, strengthening the
understanding and correct use of the language. Additionally, new learning
strategies have been learned and applied, such as more effective study
techniques and interactive methods for class participation.

In summary, this semester has been a comprehensive learning experience


that has not only improved our English skills, but has also provided valuable
tools and strategies to continue developing in the future.
