SURVEY NOTIFICATION LETTER

Pursuant to Memorandum Order No. 095-B dated April 03, 2023, issued by the National
Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Regional Director, Ordonio P. Rocero for the
Implementation of Survey Work Order No. 121-23-03 series of 2023, the Survey Team of NCIP-
RXIII, will conduct a perimeter survey simultaneous with the establishment and observation of
control points and Ancestral Domain Boundary Monuments (ADBMs) of the Manobo ICCs in
the Barangays Poblacion, Comota and Osmeña, Municipality of La Paz; and Barangays Marbon
and Desamparados, Municipality of Talacogon; All in Agusan del Sur.

As an adjacent owner/ stakeholder/ individual or entity having interests over the area, we
would like to inform you about the impending survey and you may send representative if you
wish, to observe/monitor the conduct of the actual ground survey to ensure that the respective
rights of all the stakeholders are properly protected.

Nevertheless, while your presentation is highly solicited, rest assured that with or without your
representative, Sec. 56 of R.A. 8371, pertaining to the respect accorded to property rights
within the ancestral domain already existing and/or vested before the effectivity shall be
diligently observed.

Moreover, the Mission Planning was conducted last May 11, 2023. The team clearly discussed
the procedure and set the schedules for the Survey. As a result, these were the schedules
agreed upon by the Team and the Community.
