1. General
B. Israeli codes, regulations and standards shall apply for projects in Israel and these
shall supersede sections contained within this specification where a conflict arises.
2.1. Materials
B. Tape Labels: embossed adhesive tape with minimum 5 mm white letters on black
background.
D. Cable Core Markers: Wire core labels shall be a non-deteriorating type marker:
a. For Ireland site: as supplied CSI, type “C10” (heat-shrink tube by Raychem
Tyco) or “I 10” (push-on transparent sleeve by Brady).
b. For Isreal and other region’s: as types used for Ireland except supplied by
local agent.
E. Conductor-Colour Tape: coloured heat shrink sleeves or vinyl electrical tape. Refer
to clause 3.2.F for appropriate colours.
3. Execution
C. Secure nameplates to equipment fronts using industrial grade double sided adhesive
tape. Where approved, only stainless steel set screws shall be used as an alternative
Use of self-tapping screws is not allowed.
D. Use embossed tape for identification of power source for individual wall switches
and receptacles, and for all fire alarm, security/access control, and CCTV systems
devices, such as strobe lights, evacuation speakers, emergency telephones, smoke
detectors, etc. Device identification tag to match system programming tag.
Coordinate with Contractor.
E. Wire and cable markers shall be fitted on each cable and termination point.
G. Wire and cable markers (labels) shall be fitted on each cable at each termination
point. In addition, labels shall be fitted to the cables at both sides of a PopOut where
it enters the Cleanroom.
A. Power and lighting circuits: Provide wire markers on multi-core cables and on each
phase conductor and neutral in panelboards, switchboards, motor control centers,
gutters, multi circuit pull boxes, pull boxes wit parallel runs of the same circuit, outlet
and junction boxes, and at load connection.
B. Identify with branch circuit or feeder number for power and lighting circuits, and
with control wire number as indicated on schematic and interconnection diagrams for
control wiring.
C. Provide wire markers at each termination point of fire alarm, security/access control,
and CCTV systems cable. Identify cables in accordance with the wiring schedule on
the Drawing. Coordinate with the Contractor.
