1. A train travels 180 km/hr. How many metres will it travel in 12 minutes ?

2. Emily is an avid gardener who decided to plant a flower garden in her backyard. In
the first week of planting, she planted 456 flower seeds. Each week after that, she
planted 351 seeds. Considering that there are 52 weeks in a year, how many seeds
did she plant in two years?

3. The store had 45,670 shirts in stock. They sold 12,345 shirts on Monday and
received a new shipment of 7,890 shirts on Tuesday. How many shirts are there in
the store now?

4. Shumaira had 2000, she wanted to buy 5 pens of rs 546 each . How much more
money is required to buy all the 5 pens?

5. A car was bought in January , till September it travelled 10,250 km. The next three
months it travelled 12,000 km more. In October and November it travelled 6868 km.
How many kilometres did it travel in December ?

6. If the cost of 568 handkerchiefs is ₹ 59072, then what is the cost of 67

7. There were 35,892 books in the library. If 8,753 books were borrowed and 4,126
books were returned, how many books are left in the library?

8. A shopkeeper purchased 1560 toffees for ₹ 2340. If 360 toffees were spoiled,
at what price per toffee must the shopkeeper sell the remaining toffees to
avoid any profit or loss?

9. Ravi purchased 8 dozen oranges for ₹ 1200. One and a half dozen oranges
were spoiled. At what price of each orange must he sell the remaining
oranges if he wants to avoid any profit or loss?

10. If 672 metres of cloth costs ₹ 100800, then find the cost of 96 metres of the
same cloth.

11. A bakery had 35,782 cookies in stock. They sold 8,654 cookies on Monday and
4,321 cookies on Tuesday. How many cookies are left in the bakery?

12. A printer prints 720 pages in 6 hours. How many pages will it print in 9 hours,
assuming the rate remains constant?

13. Angika baked 6050 cookies for one charity function. Her neighbour cooked an
additional 3000 cookies. They distributed the total cookies to 438 kids such
