MAINTENANCE
BALING PRESS K70 Automatic

12
GENERAL !Attention! Danger to life!
Always switch off the main switch and protect it by means of a padlock during any
maintenance and repair work.

All removed safety devices must be attached immediately after carrying out these works.

It is forbidden to operate the machine with removed safety devices.

It is strictly forbidden to walk on the conveyor and the pressing installation when the
main switch or the control unit are not switched off.

After 10 hours of operation Remove cover plates and check if all hydraulic screw fittings are tight
In case of leakage tighten the screw fitting.

Weekly maintenance 1. Check oil level at oil tank when the press-ram is in final position at the back, refill
oil and remove leakage if necessary.
2.Visual control of hydraulic control elements and cylinders. In case of leaks, pack
appropriately by tightening of screws (only use O-rings with a hardness of 90 shore).
!Attention: Do not misadjust valves and control devices!
3. Cleaning and visual control of the machine. Especially check and clean the running
zone
of the sliding rails of the press-ram.

Monthly maintenance 1. Remove metal plates from the pressing station and clean inside.
2. Clean air admission openings of the electric motors.
3. Check all tube carriers and tighten loose screws.
4. Check if cylinder cover and flange screws fit well and retighten them if necessary.
5. Grease or lubrify pins and links of the coupling hooks, keep pins and links clean
(in maintenance schedule marked with an S)
6. Check fixation of the piston rod with the pressure plate.
7. Check and correct limit stop switch fixations and limit stop switch points.

Annual maintenance 1. Check the oil condition and, if necessary, replace the oil and dispose in accordance
with country-specific regulations. The oil filter must also be replaced during this
operation.

permanent use: all 2000 working hours: clean or change filters, and
all 5000 working hours: change oil + filters!

Attention: If the filter contains impurities and excessive dirt, immediately inform
