PART A: ENTREPRENEURSHIP – Ch 10 & 11 (8 marks)

List 3 characteristics/skills you utilized when creating your board game


as a team. Explain each choice by relating it to the production of your
board game (6)
Ans: The characteristics that me and my teammates used were productivity. We
used it while making the spinner that was used in the place of the dice. The second
skill that we used was imagination. We used this skill while making the cover of the
board game. The third skill was writing skill which we used while writing the things
on the board.

List and explain 2 interesting facts about your team’s skill set. Explain
(2)
The first fact was that We had a competition between us to see who would
contribute the most in the making of our board game.The second fact was that we
were cooperating with each other and didn’t blame each other when someone did a
wrong thing which wasn’t supposed to be done.

PART B: ETHICS – Ch 3 (8 marks)

Explain in detail what 3 corporate social responsible initiatives (CSR


principles) your company will engage in to improve company image (e.g.
donating to charity, protecting the environment, etc.). (6)

List and describe 2 benefits that your company will receive from being a
socially responsible company. (2)
If our company is being socially responsible then we will have an increase in our business
reputation which will let our customers to populate and we will also have an increase in the
number of customers going in and out of our store. The investors will have more confident
in our company while investing, the stock prices will increase.The 2nd benefit that our
company will have is

PART C: PRODUCTION – Ch 5 (8 marks)

Record the approximate number of hours your team spent on completing


different tasks for the project. (4)
The approximate hours that were contributed to make the board game were like 4 to 5
hours.

List and describe 2 ways that your company and employees can improve
productivity (4)
The 2 ways we could’ve used to increase our team’s productivity were having more
patience and maybe watching some tutorials on things that we didn't know how to do.

PART D: INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS – Ch 4 (11 marks)

Pick one country (other than USA) that you would expand to and explain your
choice (3)
I would probably choose China as they would be interested in our game as it was a trivia
one and they also have a massive population which would’ve made it easier and helped our
game to gain more popularity amongst the other games.

What changes to your board game would you make to fit in with this country
(Make sure you relate your answer to the 4Ps of Marketing!) (8)

PART E: MARKETING – Ch 8 (21 marks)

Create a print advertisement for your board game (5)

Create a mini marketing plan for your board game by discussing the 4P’s
(Product, Price, Place, Promotion). (12)
Product: we will wrap the board game with a plastic wrapper and then ship it to the
customers in a cardboard box so that the quality will be well maintained and no damages
will be caused to the product the
Price: we would have a fair amount of discount on our product so that it does not look like a
scam or a theft the price would be 30-40$.
Place: we would probably choose Walmart for then export and for the digital shoppers we
would use amazon and we would also have a storage area so that we can store the product
and take care of it as it is our top priority.
Promotion: we would use one on one methods and reach out to the customers who know
how our product works by contacting them digitally or sending them emails. We would also
increase our sales for promotion.

Our target market would be the ones who are into trivia games whose age is like 10 to
20.As it would help our company to populate.

Create a slogan (“catch phrase”). Explain your choice. (2)


“Use 100 percent of you brain to win the game” would be the slogan as our game is based
on some of the hardest trivia questions.

OTHER: COMMUNICATION
(5 MARKS)

Well-written, proper spelling and grammar, proper business report format (Cover
page, table of contents, use of headings)
DUE DATE: FRIDAY JUNE 7, 2024 (end of the day) (tentative due date)
Phase III is worth 50% of the Total Culminating Assignment mark.

BOARD GAME MARKETING FAIR
In addition, we will have a “Business Fair Carnival” where we will showcase our
board games to the rest of the school! This will also take place
sometime during
the week of May 27, 2024 in the cafeteria or our classroom
