OBJECTIVES/ GUIDELINES/ AGREEMENT: INTERNSHIP SYNOPSIS

An internship is a unique learning experience that integrates studies with practical work. This agreement is
written by the student in consultation with the faculty Mentor and Industrial supervisor. It shall serve to
clarify the educational purpose of the internship and to ensure an understanding of the total learning
experience among the principal parties involved.

Internship Objectives: What do you intend to learn, acquire and clarify through this internship? Try
to use concrete, measurable terms in listing your learning objectives under each of the following

 Knowledge and Understanding:
1. WordPress installation.
2. Designing of website frontend using WordPress.
3. Editing tools like Elementor.

• Skills:
1. Frontend website designing.
2. Hosting it on the internet.

Learning Activities:
The internship provided an exhaustive learning experience in website development using
wordpress. It had provided the complete guidance for wordpress installation. Then it had taught
that how to design website frontend using wordpress and how to use different designing tools like
Elementor.
It had also taught us how to host the designed website on the different hosting platforms. The
major project consisted of designing of an e-commerce website using wordpress.

On the job:
The internship served as an essential path for understanding the wordpress tool for designing website. It provided
extensive and practical training for tools like Elementor and WooCmmerce. The internship provided qualified
mentors for training and learning resources.

Teaching/Mentoring Activities:
The internship imparted knowledge of Wordpress and E-commerce which can be used to design
websites for different clients to fulfill their requirements.

Part III: The Internship


Job Description: The internship consisted of formal online training of website development using
wordpress. The major roles and responsibilities are listed as follows –
1. Creating frontend of an e-commerce website.
2. Editing it with elementor.
3. Adding multiple add-ins for increasing its features.
4. Hosting it on hosting platforms.

Supervision:
The project supervisor was single point of contact for development and testing issues. The
supervision consisted of demonstration, training and evaluation of work done on daily basis.
Agileproject methodology was incorporated, which consisted of daily 15-30 minutes meeting with
the supervisor to discuss the work done previously.

Evaluation:
The evaluation was done on weekly basis by Internship trainer on basis of knowledge gained and
implemented on the project. The evaluation consisted of review and analysis of test cases and
output of implemented features in project. Faculty coordinator can conduct evaluation, if required.

Part IV: Agreement


This contract may be terminated or amended by student, faculty coordinator or work supervisor at
any time upon written notice, which is received and agreed to by the other two parties
