Understanding Redemption: The Significance of Jesus Christ Blood

To understand Redemption, We must first understand the premise of what it is and brought
about the need for it. From the genesis of man, it was recorded of how man created in the image and
likeness of God and was at right standing with God. But the disobedience and fall of man from this state
brought about a change in status of who man was meant to be. In that same vein man went on
reproducing and multiplying in this same fallen state..

Gen.5.3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his
image; and called his name Seth: (KJV). Which gave rise to a race of men who all were all fallen and short
of the glory of God by default

Rom.3.23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (KJV).

Ps.51.5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. (KJV)

Therefore It was Expedient that man should be restored to his original state or redeemed from this
fallen state. And God in his Infinite Wisdom had it all in Plan already

Rom.16.25 Now to Him Who is able to strengthen you in the faith which is in accordance with my Gospel
and the preaching of (concerning) Jesus Christ (the Messiah), according to the revelation (the unveiling)
of the mystery of the plan of redemption which was kept in silence and secret for long ages, (AMP)

But as consequence of the disobedience of man in the beginning, something plunged man into this
fallen state. what really happened was that man died, the true essence of man died as God had pre
warned.

Gen.3.3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of
it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. (KJV)

King David understood this. That was why he lamented in Ps.62.1 Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from
him cometh my salvation. (KJV)

Ps.62.5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. (KJV)

He knew that when man was created he was created a living soul

Gen.2.7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the
breath of life; and man became a living soul. (KJV). And that man's soul was made alive by that breath of
life ..which is the spirit of God in man..that essence that made man the likeness and image of God...that
was why he was longing to be quickened in other words, made alive by that spirit of God that man lost
by virtue of the fall in eden.
The mystery of man's body living on, even when its essence, the spirit (which makes the soul
alive) is dead is by a phenomenon called blood, in Genesis, Moses brought us this insight by stating that
the life of man's physical body (the flesh) is the blood.

Gen.9.4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. (KJV)

Deut.12.16 Only ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it upon the earth as water. (KJV)

Gal.1.16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred
not with flesh and blood: (KJV).

And as man continued to live in or just by the flesh without the spirit Of God in him, sin continued to
reign in man even unto the death(starting by that of the spirit) to it's physical body ..

But to redeem man, a price had to be paid.

Lev.25.52 And if there remain but few years unto the year of jubile, then he shall count with him, and
according unto his years shall he give him again the price of his redemption. (KJV)And this price would
also take on the technology of the blood that give life to just the body of man, inorder to access the
soul. And this was foreshadowed in the old testament of the bible and manifested or accomplished in
the new testament.

Heb.9.22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no
remission. (KJV)

Matthew 26:28

[28]For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

In the Old testament blood of animals served as

1. symbol for remission of sins, to give man the consciousness of being realigned with God( as a
possibility) even if it was fickle and for just an amount of time.

Exodus 29:36-39

[36]And thou shalt off er every day a bullock for a sin offering for atonement: and thou shalt cleanse the
altar, when thou hast made an atonement for it, and thou shalt anoint it, to sanctify it.

[37]Seven days thou shalt make an atonement for the altar, and sanctify it; and it shall be an altar most
holy: whatsoever toucheth the altar shall be holy.

[38]Now this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar; two lambs of the first year day by day
continually.

[39]The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer at even:

2. Symbol for protection from death.

Exodus 12:7

[7]And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the
houses, wherein they shall eat it.

Heb.11.28 Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the
firstborn should touch them. (KJV)

3. symbol as purification or made fit for a purpose.

Exod.12.5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the
sheep, or from the goats: (KJV)...as lamb or bullocks without blemish were used to signify the purity they
want to attain by the sacrifice.

Still Men struggled..they were not able to be one with God as they were designed to. They were living by
their flesh trying to workout being right with God and they failed sublimely as their shortcomings was
glaring under the law which moses gave and by the life of the flesh( blood of animals),

Leviticus 17:11

[11]For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an
atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Up until the Divine
promise of unity with God came through our Lord Jesus Christ. Who came to complete the redemption
of Man from his sins and frailties into the oneness with God he was designed to..

This was possible because by the technology of blood, Jesus came in Flesh

John 1:1-4

[1]In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

[2]The same was in the beginning with God.

[3]All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

[4]In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

And at same time he had and also became a life giving spirit

1Cor.15.45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a
quickening spirit. (KJV)...He was begotten of God and also even though subject to sin as we are because
he came in Flesh, he strived and made himself blameless , without blemish

John.14.30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing
in me. (KJV). He became christ, by virtue of his oneness with God to show the human race the
manifestation, the luminousity (the light) o who humans are really meant to be-the image of God

John 1:4,9
[4]In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

[9]That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

And the most incredible thing is that he then proceeded to give of this fullness of him he attained(christ
likeness), the image of God.

John 1:14,16

[14]And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the
only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

[16]And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

By taking advantage of this spiritual truth in

Rom.5.19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall
many be made righteous. (KJV). By both relinquishing his Glory Phil.2.6 Who, being in the form of God,
thought it not robbery to be equal with God: (KJV)

Phil.2.7 But stripped Himself [of all privileges and rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant
(slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being. (AMP). And from this state of
disadvantage still strived to attain fullness of God in him, went then to relinquishing it again by dieing as
a lamb for the remission of sin and grand plan of redemption of Man to God

Phil.2.8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death,
even the death of the cross. (KJV). And by reason of his death and shedding of his innocent blood and his
resurrection ( because he conquered death). It gave man the access to become born again, to be born of
the spirit, to bring alive the dead spirit of man

1John.5.6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water
and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. (KJV). And teaching us
beforehand, before he died and resurrect how we can access this gift he has wrought for us.

John.6.53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of
man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. (KJV)

John.6.54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the
last day. (KJV),

Figuratively expounding that unless we partake in the nature of him and imbibe the essence of his
blood(life and death) ; believing and walking in the light of his redemption of mankind to God, we won't
have the real life I us, that is the real.life o the spirit, he then emphasizes In vs 63 that it was the spirit
that quickens In other words makes alive the soul.

John.6.63 It is the Spirit Who gives life [He is the Life-giver]; the flesh conveys no benefit whatever
[there is no profit in it]. The words (truths) that I have been speaking to you are spirit and life. (AMP)
Col.1.14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: (KJV)

Col.1.15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: (KJV)

1Cor.1.29 That no flesh should glory in his presence. (KJV)

1Cor.1.30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and
sanctification, and redemption: (KJV)

So by christ Jesus Blood , Man was redeemed back to God by the mystery of his death and resurrection
and by our believe in it..we come into it.

Gal.3.13 Christ purchased our freedom [redeeming us] from the curse (doom) of the Law [and its
condemnation] by [Himself] becoming a curse for us, for it is written [in the Scriptures], Cursed is
everyone who hangs on a tree (is crucified); (ALL)

Hebrews 9:11-14

[11]But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect
tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

[12]Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy
place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

[13]For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to
the purifying of the flesh:

[14]How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without
spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

So by virtue of these redemption we are eternally

1. We are forgiven our sins and realigned with God eternally.

2. We are saved from the bondage of death.

3. We are made fit and purified for his purpose.
