Naan Mudhalvan program

• Infosys Springboard offers two programs for students of BSc this semester:
– Cybersecurity
– Foundation of coding with Python
• Mode of delivery
– Virtual sessions for students [5 sessions]
– Online learning in self-paced mode by students
• Assessment
– Each program has mandatory courses that need to be completed by the students on the Infosys Springboard platform – 50
marks
– Completion means
• Taking the self-assessment at the end of the mandatory courses and clearing it (60% and above indicates completion of the
course) on the Infosys Springboard platform
• Multiple attempts are allowed, with 1 day gap between attempts
• The completion will contribute to the external score component for the credit points in the college
– Project evaluation by faculty members in the college

The steps to install the Weak application will be given as a document. The students need to mitigate

Registration:
• The registration of the students will be done by the Infosys team on Infosys Springboard
• The email id of student once registered CANNOT be changed at a later point in time
– The email id provided during registration would be used for tracking assessments by your college and providing the score
• If any other id is used, we will not track the details through that id

• After registration, an email will be sent from [email protected] confirming the credentials to
login
Accessing platform:
• Accessing the Springboard platform
– You can access the platform by logging in with the email id and password
– Change the password on first login
– You can access the mandatory courses and complete them on the platform
– The platform is available on web and also as a mobile app

 Naan Mudhalvan Student Enablement Program

Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) in collaboration with Infosys Springboard
aims to provide skill building modules as part of their academic curriculum through their flagship
initiative called Naan Mudhalvan(NM). The focus of this initiative is to bridge the industry-
academia gap and make the students industry ready, through the meticulously planned faculty
and students enablement programs.

The student enablement programs will be delivered through virtual mode to cover the students
and institutions opting for the skill building modules.

Mode of Learning:

• Completion of identified courses on the platform: Students have to complete the identified
courses by completing the self-assessment and scoring >60% before the stipulated time
as provided by the institution
• The students need to attend the virtual sessions from their colleges as per the given
schedule

General guidelines for attending the virtual sessions:

• The students of respective institutions should assemble in the designated

classroom/lab/space.
• The college SPoC (Single Point of Contact) would need to-
o Use a device (Laptop/desktop) to connect to Webex session
o Login 15 minutes before start of the session using the email id provided with NM team
o Login to the Webex session using provided login ID and password.
o Note: Login only with the SPoC email id shared with NM team. Students SHOULD
NOT login individually to the sessions.
o Project the machine to a projector and have a proper sound system so that the
students can hear and see the session
• Please ensure proper internet connectivity in the classroom/Lab/space during the session
• In case of any doubts from students, the respective SPoC can put the doubts in the chat
window. They may also share the same over an email - springboard-
[email protected]) with subject line “NM_Queries_<<subjectname>><<Batch
Name>>”.
