MODULE 5

DISSASSEMBLY
P3, P5, A5, P6
AIR FILTERS

Transformer Fans on right side –


Check for airflow.
ACCESS TO CARD CAGE

Both side panel covers come off by


removing 2 screws on either side of the
back of the panel.
FRONT COVER REMOVAL

First remove both side covers.

Remove 2 screws on either side of the


unit that hold the dummy cover.
FRONT COVER REMOVAL CONTINUED

After removing 4 screws


from the inside frame,
the front cover pulls off
the front of the unit.
REAR COVER REMOVAL

Remove 4 screws from


the back panel and it will
come off the back off the
unit easily.
VIVID S5, S6
SIDE COVER REMOVAL

Both side covers snap off the


machine. One of them contains the
system filter that needs to be
cleaned on a PM.
FRONT COVER REMOVAL

Remove the screws


on both the left and
the right sides of the
front panel. It can
then be pulled off.
BACK COVER REMOVAL

Remove the screws


on both the left and
the right sides of the
backA panel. It can
then be pulled off.
OPENING THE CABINET CAGE

Unlock the 2 fastening latches and then open the cage like a door.
POLARIS ARCHITECTURE
BACK COVER REMOVAL

Remove the power


cord.

Remove 5 screws
from the back
cover.

Remove all cables


and move to the
side.
CARD CAGE ACCESS

Remove the 4
screws that hold
the card cage
cover in place.
OPIO REMOVAL

Remove 2 screws from the Remove 5 screws from the

CONTROL PANEL REMOVAL

Access to the Operator Panel is on the under side of the panel. Remove the screws
and then gently lift the front of the OP Panel up so that you can see the cables that
need to be disconnected. Disconnect the cables and free the panel from the unit.
