Greetings

Good Morning class!

Good Morning Ma’am Rouse Leanne!
Good morning classmates. God Bless
Classroom Management you!

Before you take your seats, kindly

arrange your chairs carefully and
check if there are pieces of papers
under your chair.

Checking of Attendance

Secretary of the class, who are the

absent today?
Ma’am, I’m glad to tell you that no one of
my classmate is absent today.
Thank you Ms. Secretary, I’m also
glad that all of you are present
today.

Review

Class, before we proceed to our

new lesson, let us have first our
review regarding our previous
lesson. Shall we have a game?

Are you familiar with crossword Sure, ma’am!

puzzle?
I will flash the horizontal or vertical Yes, ma’am!
puzzle that you need to answer.

Each group will have a

representative that means for every
flash of boxes there is a different
member that represents their group.

The first group to get 5 points will

win in this game and will receive a
bonus points for the next activity.

Understand?

Go now to your respective groups

and let’s start!

Yes, ma’am!

- It serves as the outer boundary of

the cell.

- The outermost structure of plant

cells which consist of cellulose and
other substance.
- It act as a digestive system of the
cell for the digestion process of
materials taken in.

- It is responsible for protein

synthesis.

- It is the liquid portion of the cell

containing small organs, the
organelles.
- Helps with cell division.

- It is the control center of the cell.

- It is the coloring pigment of the cell.

- It stores waste products to be

relased later or used to prevent
other organisms from eating them.

- It manufactures lipids. It has no

ribosome.

Group 3 got the perfect score!

Good job clap for them.

Alright, I’m glad that all of you

understand our previous lesson.
B. DEVELOPMENTAL ACTIVITIES

Abstraction

So, is there any difference between

plant and animal cell? Yes, Ma’am

Why do you think so? Yes, Carmela It’s because there are organelles that only
present in animal cell and only present in
plant cell.
Very Good! Is there any other
answer? Yes, Janina Some of their organelles are big and
small.

Absolutely!
What are the organelles that only
present in animal cell? Yes, Jenny Cell Membrane, Lysosome, Ribosome,
Golgi Apparatus, Mitochondria,
Endoplasmic reticulum, Cytoplasm,
Vacuole, Nucleus, Nucleolus, Nuclear
membrane
Very Good! So why do you think
Plant cell and animal cell have the
same organelles? Yes, Cherish Because all organelles have their own
function in each cell.

Very Good! Is there any other

answer? Yes, Iran Because they are both organisms.

Exactly! So do they differ in

structure? Yes, ma’am

How do you say so? Yes, Adriel Because they differ in shape, the animal
cell looks like square while plant cell is
circle.

Very Good! What else? Yes, Angel They are differ in color, animal cell is
brown while the plant is green because of
the plastids.
Very Good! So animal and plant cell
differ in color, shape and organelles.

Do they differ in functions? Yes, No ma’am because their organelles have

Linnea the same functions

Very Good! Do they have a different

organelles? Yes, ma’am

What are the organelles that present

in animal cell and absent in plant
cell? Yes, Joshua Centrioles

Why centrioles is only present in

animal cell? Yes, Patrick Because centrioles is helping for the cell
division of animal cell.
Very Good! So the one that
responsible for cell division of
animal cell is centrioles but in plant
cell the organelles that responsible
for cell division is the Golgi
apparatus.

How about in plants? What are the

organelles that only present in plant
cell? Yes, Jiro Plastids and Cell Wall

Very Good! And what is the function

of this two organelles in plant cell? Plastids is responsible for the color of the
Yes, Jason plant while Cell wall is responsible for the
rigidity of the cell
Exactly!

Class, that is the difference and

similarities of plant cells and animal
cells. Did you understand our lesson
for today? Yes, Ma’am

Do you have any question? None, Ma’am

If that so, let’s proceed to your next

activity to check if you really learn.

Application

Your task today is to observe. I need

one volunteer from each group to
