The whole organisation impart the feeling of monolithic functional value. The peripheral buildings
create an enclosure which consist of smaller blocks of similar shape bur are arranged to the shape of
enclosure.
Northern built part consist of larger blocks and of different shape and size which seems to show their
different nature of function as well as location. The southern part consists of comparatively smaller
blocks but organic in planning having some open space in between.
The liner white stripe in the patch impart that it’s a path (road) having different nature of building
along its both the sides.
The repetitive blocks with similar size and slightly different shape with some considerable space in
between suggests it can be plotted residential. It consists of a structure which has a courtyard and
open space around it suggests that it can be school with playing area or community area with open
space.
The profile of the central structure suggests it’s a stadium with amenities buildings around it. The
complex is a public building complex.

NEW MARKET
Mixed use periphery completely commercialized enclosure solely assigned for a commercial
hub.
RANGMAHAL CHOWK
Utility and public buildings like hospitals, pharmacies, bank, coaching centres. Transition
from commercial to public buildings. Development of amenity and utility buildings.
BOULEVARD STREET
Predominantly residential. Proposal of resignification to promote mixed use development.
TT NAGAR STADIUM
Institution and public buildings. Buffer zone between commercial and residential building
use.
NEW MARKET
Mid-rise ranging from G+2 to G+3, building along the road and clustered in a liner manner
RANGMAHAL CHOWK
Primarily large and mid-rise buildings ranging from G+2 to G+5. Few small structure.
BOULEVARD STREET
Ground floor residential structure.
TT NAGAR STADIUM
Low-rise buildings but large structures. Height ranges from G to G+2.

BOULEVARD STREET: This road will serve as the main road to the Bhopal Smart City, Area
Based Development (ABD) Project. The road will be constructed between depot square and
MANIT, this hi-tech road will be assisted by many smart projects and will possibly be the
first six lane smart road of the country.
It will be featuring an extra utility duct for the future laying of OFC cables, pipes etc. In the
central verge.
Road electrification will include Smart LED Electric poles with Surveillance System.
