The Resources Manager

Dear Sir/ Madam
RE: Application for an industrial attachment as a chemical engineer for the period August 2022 to
August 2023

I write to apply for an internship position at your company as a Chemical Engineer. I am an

undergraduate student studying towards a Bachelor of Engineering Honors Degree in Chemical
Engineering at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST). I am looking for
practical job experience as a Chemical Engineer.

Having balanced a rigorous course load during my three years of study, I acquired a theoretical
understanding of Chemical Engineering concepts. My academic course work consists of chemical
engineering thermodynamics, process dynamics control, fluid flow, separations processes,
minerals engineering, and chemical reactions engineering to mention but a few. I also developed
strong skills in mathematical and computer analysis, research, and communication by completing
individual and group assignments. I would greatly benefit from working with industrial
professionals. This will greatly enhance my knowledge, techniques, and understanding of the
Chemical Engineering fraternity.

Attached, is my resume and a letter from the University for your Consideration.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours faithfully
