PERFORM COMPUTER OPERATIONS

Written Test

perform system check out.

Specific Instructions:

1. Verify that the system is connected to a 220-Vac power outlet.


2. Verify that the monitor’s power cable is connected to a
220-Vac outlet, or to the monitor power connection on
the back of the unit.
3. Verify that the video signal cable is connected to the 15-
pin D-type connector at the rear of the unit.
4. Verify that the keyboard is plugged into the round 5-pin
DIN connector or Personal System/2 – PS/2 (mini DIN)
at the rear of the unit.
5. Check to see that the mouse is connected to the rear of the unit.
6. Turn the system on and let it runs for a few seconds.
7. Record the order of events that occur.
8. Turn the system OFF and properly shut down.

At the end of the assessment the trainer will give you feedback on the
result of the assessment. The feedback shall indicate if you are
competent or not competent.
