This is to certify that the work of New Line from Mau-Ghazipur-Tarighat (51 Km) in Uttar Pradesh under
the jurisdiction of North Eastern Railway & East Central Railway was transferred to Rail Vikas Nigam
Limited, 1st Floor August Kranti Bhawan, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi -110066 for execution on
Turnkey basis. The details of the work completed so far is furnished below: -

 Foundation: -
1. Well Foundation – 14 Nos Double 'D' Type (Dimension: -
18.50m x 8.50m & Depth 45.0 m approx.).: - Completed
 Sub-structure: -
1. Solid RCC Rectangular Wall Type Pier of 13.30 m x 2.60 m x
17.0 m height along with fenders.: - Completed
 Super-structure: -
1. Fabrication & erection of open Web Girder of Span of 85.5 &
43.5 Mtr with both side gangway and trolley refuge.: -
Completed
2. Road deck on top with 10.500 Mtr carriage way & 2.25 Mtr
footpath on both sides including concrete crash barrier & hand
railing.: - Completed
 Bearings: -
1. Fixing of Spherical bearings.: - Completed
 Rail Linking: -
1. Fixing of galvanized steel Channel sleeper with 52KG guard
Rail & galvanized steel chequered plates. Rail Linking with
90UTS, 60KG Rail of 26Mtr each length.

Special features: -
1. The fabrication of 15,844 MT superstructure members was
completed in three fabrication workshops. This includes
14,319.69 MT for (11 x 85.5 Mtr) spans, 1,149.17 MT for (2 x
43.5 Mtr) spans, and 375.177 MT for gangway and trolley
refuge. The same structures were erected on-site using the
trestle, cantilever erection, and push launching methods.
2. Use of E-410 B0 Cu grade High tensile structural steel to
maintain required strength with reduced dead load/weight of
Super-Structure.
3. Use of 12.67 Lakhs (Approx) HSFG bolts of 10.9 S Grade.

Approach Viaducts of Rail cum road bridge: -


Total length of Railway Viaducts: - 3.413 Km.
Total length of earthwork & blanketing work: - 7.719 Km.
 Foundation: -
1. 23,855 m Pile foundation of 1200 mm RCC bored cast in-
situ piles
 Sub-Structure: -
1. RCC Pile cap, pier shaft & pier cap with variable size as per
span & load criteria
 Super-structure: -
Ghazipur City & Ghazipur Ghat (Non-standard & RDSO
standard Composite Girder)
 73 Nos X 30.5 m – Completed.
 2 Nos X 12.2 m – Completed.
 5 No X 24.4 m – Completed.
Tarighat (Composite Girder)
 20 Nos X 30.5 m – Completed.
 14 Nos X 24.4 m – Completed.
