Definition: -
• Refers to the growth, learning, and personal development that
students experience as a result of their engagement in service-based
educational experience.
• Student development in CSL occurs in stage/phases:
Phase 1: Exposure phase
Phase 2: Capacity building phase
Phase 3: Responsibility phase
