EXPERT TIPS

1. Download of templates
2. Ask for paper and extra markers
3. Keep the microphone parallel my mouth 4 fingers away
4. Fisrt question is only to practise
5. All the test I need to speak fluent and clear the pronunce

For speaking
Reading aloud:
1 speak at a moderate pace
2 take proper pauses
3 focus on clarity
4 do not go to fast or too slow
5 make sure to read each and every word cleary and carefully
6 for read aloud I can use two strategies (one-line strategies or read full passage)

Repeat sentence:
1 understand the meaning of the sentence
2 speak as much as you understand
3 speak clearly and confidently
4 The content is very important, but If I don’t remember whole the words I need to
keep the fluency. Ex. blablablablabla I’m very hapy today

For writing
1 summarize written text and then I need to use the format. Join 2-3 sentences
using connectors
2 Essay, fallow the template and add keywords accordingly

For reading
1 manage my time
2 focus more on reading blanks & reading and writing blanks
3 focus on understanding of the context
4 focus on my grammar as well

For listening
1 summarize spoken text
2 listenning fill in the blanks
3 highlight incorrect word
4 write from dictation

Describe image
1 follow the update template
2 Take easy keywords
3 I never can repeat the same sentence again (like I can see, I can see…)
4 I need to have different sentences and then add the keywords
5 In PTE speaking, grammar and vocabulary is not important!
6 I need to focus in fluency and how I pronounce the words

Retell lecture
1 write around 10-12 important keywords
2 write easy words
3 speak them with clarity
4 use the template, but I need to be careful to never repeat the same sentence
5 If the lecture is short and I don’t have enough keywords I can repeat the same
keywords.
6 Answer short questions is not important, I need to focus in other parts
7 If I don’t know the answer I can speak only the keywords from the question, or I
can speak the answer.
8 If the question has option I need to repeat all options
9 I need focus in clarity and my content.

Writing (Easy module) *The majority of the scores I will get from reading and listening
Summarize written text
1I need to read the passage and select 2-3 sentences with important keywords
2 Join the sentences using connectors and at the end I need to use fullstop.
3 I need to make sure that I write between 50 to 75 words
4 If write more than 75 words I will get 0 (ZERO) score
5 If write more than 1 fullstop I will get 0 (ZERO) score
6 If use question mark or exclamation sign I will get 0 (ZERO) score

Question type Essay


1I follow properly material (1.3) checked link on vide
2 Include all the keywords from the essay topic in my answer
3 Write 5-6 keywords related to the Essay in my answer
4 Checking my grammar or spelling mistakes

Reading (Important module)


1 Make sure that I will understand the meaning of the passage
2 I need to use grammar to eliminate the options
3 Eliminate the best option suited to the context
4 I need to spend 2 to 2:30 minutes on one passage

MCQ multiple answers is not important


1 I need to select “C” and move forward
2 I need to select 1 option that contains a negative marking

Re-order paragraph (check the link for that)


1 Focus on making as many pairs as possible

Reading Drag and drop blanks


1 Understand the context and use the grammar rules
2 I need to use the part that I’m confident first after that others
3 Spend a maximum 2 to 2:30 minutes

MCQ single answers is not important


1 I need to understand the text and context and eliminate the wrong option.

Listening (divided into 2 parts) - part 1


1 Time management is very important
2 Has 8 questions, but 4 is not important

Summarize spoken text


1 It will give points in listening and writing
2 Summarize spoken text template (I need to use a template)
3 I need to include in my answer (using my template) 8-9 keywords from the lecture
4 Write between 50-70 words (ideally 65 words)
5 No spelling mistakes
6 Do not write the word If I’m not confident the spelling
7 If there are less keywords, I can repeat the same keywords, but I can’t write
incorrect spellings
8 Fallow the same template
9 I can spend 10 minutes If I need.

Listening part 2
I will have around 18-19 minutes for 11-12 questions
I need to save time to 4 questions
1 Summarize spoke text (very important)
2 MCQ multiple answers (not important)
3 Listening fill in the blanks (very important)
4 Highlight correct summary (not important)
5 MCQ single answer (not important)
6 Select missing word (not important)
7 Highlight incorrect word (very important)
8 Write from dictation (very important)

1 If I have any blank I need to start with capital alphabet after full stop (.) or
questions marks (?)

Highlight incorrect word


1 It contains negative marking. Select one option, you are 100% sure about.

Write from dictation


1 I can get 1 point for correct word
2 If I’m not sure about the word I can write two times that the computer will working
for the correct one.
NEVER STOP UNTIL SUBMITTED THE EXAM
