9
• For m2 QTO : Length of wall*Height – opening area more than 1m2 (depends on MOM)
• For m3 QTO : (Length of wall*Height – opening area more than 1m2 (depends on
MOM))*wall thickness

10
• Length for 12 cm wall = 3.86+ 7.9 + 2.4 m = 8.16
• Height for 12 cm wall = 3.52-0-0.22 = 3.3 m
• Gross area=8.16*3.3=26.93 m2
• Openings for 12 cm wall = 0.8*2+0.9*2=3.4 m2
• Net area=26.93-3.4=23.53 m2
11
• Length for 25 cm wall = 4.7 m
• Height for 25 cm wall = 3.52-0-0.22-.55 = 2.75 m
• Gross area=12.925 m2
• Openings area= 1.5*1.5+0.9*2=4.05 m2
• Net area= 12.925-4.05=8.875 m2
• Net Volume=8.875*.25=2.219 m3 12
• If the external wall is a cavity wall – how do you think we will make a QTO for it ?

13
14
• Net area for 12 cm wall =23.53 m2
• Net area for 25 cm wall=8.875 m2
• Total wall Plaster area =8.875+23.53=32.4 m2
• Total Ceiling plaster area = 17 m2
15
• The last calculations is in case of not removing skirting height.
• In case of removing skirting we deduct 10 cm from height and recalculate

16
• In case of Gypsum board or gypsum tiles, the height of plaster will reach just 10 cm above
Gypsum height level, not to the ceiling

17
• Every floor finish as per finish schedule to be measured by m2.
• This area for example can be :
• Ceramic/Porcelain
• Stone 2 or 4 cm thickness ( as described )
• Rubber flooring
• Vinyl
• Terrazzo
• Cement tiles
• HPL
